All I can see are feminists saying that feminism is about equality, then claim that the acts of discrimination or examples of discriminatory laws that have been passed by feminists were the responsibility of "radical" feminists and that they aren't one of those. However, every last one of the feminists involved in the acts of discrimination and the discriminatory laws, claimed the EXACT SAME THING. In many cases the people that claim equality (even on here) will then go on to justify discrimination.

How can I come to the conclusion that OVERALL feminism is not a radical hate movement if the RESULTS of the feminist movement are the acts of discrimination and the discriminatory laws?

If they are different then surely someone can tell me why them seem to ACT in the same manner and can tell me how we can tell them apart.

So, how do we tell the difference between a "true" feminist and a "radical feminist" if they make the exact same claims?

For example, there are millions of men from around the globe that take trips to Thailand just for the purpose of having sex with hot Asian women. Is this wrong when infact prostitution is legal in Thailand, the men and the women are willing participants, and the women are being paid just like any normal transaction. In a lot of cases these women are very poor and need the money so its kind of a win win situation, the man gets to live out his Asian fantasy and the Asian women get paid.

Also does it make a difference if a man does this and is single or married?

in the nether region? Like does it get freezin cold up there to?

I know as a man I have been in sub Zero weather and the ole jewels tend to retreat where it is warmer.

Does that happen to the ladies with short skirts when it's freezin cold?
Eveything is kinda sucked up in there where it's warm?
What do you do if you allow it to get freezin cold?
Are panty hose enough to keep it warm?

A lot of women aren't wearing panty hose these days so, Would that let the cootche freeze or maybe get frost bit?

Just courious. I know we ain't built the same but "things" do get cold. "Don't they"?

I live on the gulf coast, the ladies don't have that problem here.

Some of my buddies have said that they will only marry women from other cultures (Hispanic, Asian) because they feel they get better treatment and don't have a "princess complex" like many (NOT all) American women.

My buddies have made up their minds. I'm on the fence on this issue. Do they have a point?

They say many American women (rightly) expect to be treated specially ("open my doors, bring me flowers, pay for our dates, etc.")

How do they reciprocate? By offering the pleasure of their company

They'd never dream of actually reciprocating by offering to serve him, say a plate of food. They feel it would be demeaning. "I'm not your SLAVE. . . but, you'd still better open my doors"

By contrast, 4 of us were invited to the home of a Latina for dinner. She and the other Latinas actually served us and THEN they ate themselves. We were stunned. We would rather've eaten WITH them

But, those ladies understand that the door of service swings both ways. That's all they say they want

It seems like those of us who are waiting to have children until we are financially stable are at greater risk of having children with chronic diseases. The father's age is important to the health of the child. Autism, when it is not already in the family, is related to older fathers. So are many cancers, and other disease affecting the nervous system. Are women interested in this? There is much research over many years, but preventing disease is not financially profitable so it is under the radar screen.

I personally think they do, they put impossible standards on women to look and act perfect - and as we are seeing, these women get drunk and pregnant, like lots of "normal" people out there - they are not "perfect" like the show makes them out to be. I don't see the need or the reason behind them - I'm not ugly personally, but wonder how it makes the "typical" overweight person feel to sit and watch something like this... does it make them feel good about themselves? Doubtful. Why are these things on tv? I don't get it, please help me understand.

just curious what everyone's views are concerning the relationship between these two topics. some anti-abortionist consider a life to start at conception, these IVF embryos are fertilized, they're just not implanted. so is it at fertilization or implantation that destroying it becomes 'murder' as anti-abortionists call it?
please be respectful.

I want to get a social work job in California. I am not sure what's the best to get started in the SF Bay Area. I got master's degree in social work in Japan and then got a teaching job at vocational school (college level) and taught for two years. And I have several volunteer/intern experiences at nonprofit organizations in Japan and in the U.S.
I am interested in social work for domestic violence survivors like shelters, hospitals etc. So, I'm wondering how I could get involved in working in the field.
Do I need schooling in the U.S.? If so, what kind of classes do I have to take? Do I have to go to graduate school one more time in the U.S. to get American MSW degree? And do I need advanced English (ESL) certificates, or adult class work to get a job?

I will have my green card sometime soon then will move to the U.S. to live with my husband and will be able to work legally. I know it would be challenging but would be very nice to know what I need to go forward.

I think so. Many of you have proved this in my last question about female rapists. When the going gets rough boy....shhhhhhiiiittt equality what? who? hahaha have a good day....go ahead give me low ratings...lol

I think its fair that they should right? Well, how come most of them only get a few years and some none at all? I think a woman rapist, i.e. female teacher that rapes a little 14 year old boy should face same consequences and jail time. After all, isnt equality what you're striving for?

i not meant that women should just work in kitchen , of course i am against it. but why when there are lots of man in country they should use women for war.
of course it is very necessary to every woman to learn how should protect herself when some one attack her. but a smart woman should know that , god dont create her for fight.
if they send women by name of freedom to war, i prefer to not be free.
