Not abortion, not feminism, not rape, not parental rights, not racism....but if I suggest we talk about baking brownies or getting spots out of our children's clothes, that might spark a fire of a different nature? You go first....

I dated this girl for a year and a half and we eventually broke up because of all the problems we had. Toward the end, she would cry and say all sorts of things to me, and months later I've thought about them with a different mindset and want to see what you think. I remember as things got really bad, I kinda in a sense stopped caring about it. It wasn't that I didn't CARE, it was just I was sorta tired and kinda just let her do whatever, say whatever, etc. One of the things she said to me was, "Chris, you're not dominant anymore! The way we used to work, I would give you my opinion and feelings, and you would always listen and make what YOU felt was the best decision! I had a say because sometimes you'd go with what I wanted, and sometimes you knew you were right- I had a say, but you were the leader in it! You don't do that anymore, you just let me do whatever!" I'm dead serious she said that. I mean, that isn't word for word, but...anyway, do women really want it to be that way?

Ok, I need help gang. In some individuals mind's Barbie is a toy - nothing more. Alternatively, barbie is a social phenomenon that creates unrealistic goals for the "perfect" woman. I am so stuck on 1 last point I can argue for and against Barbie only being a toy. here is what I have so far:

VII.1. Children's play is a major contributor to the process of socialization and that objects children play with demand some internal representation
Vs.
Barbie is a toy doll that allows children to understand the process of socialization and stimulates imagination to grow.

2. Barbie creates unrealistic expectations for young girls by allowing them to believe thin and pretty is the expectation set for women.
Vs.
If Barbie so unhealthy with her shape-then why are there no complaints about Mr. Potato head’s portly protrusion? Can we not blame Mr. Potato head for plastic surgery and being stuck with our own eyes, ears, nose and mouth?

Can anyone help me create a 3rd point?! PLEASE

We keep seeing beautiful young teachers who are having sex with their willing young male students, and somehow these teachers' crimes do not seem so horrific as when a male adult teacher does the same or less to a willing young female student.....it is still statuatory rape - and the same crime......double standards?

If it has been shown that women are equally, or more violent, in relationships than men and violence in lesbian relationships occurs with ATLEAST the same frequency.

Then why do feminist dv advocacy groups still go on and on about DB being caused by 'patriarchy', for example the recent UN report on violence against women (which was rebuked) was patriarchy patriarchy patriarchy:

http://www.un.org/womenwatch/daw/vaw/SGstudyvaw.htm

More importantly why do feminist organisations tasked with funding allocation by the biased VAWA, insist members accept it:

http://www.boston.com/news/globe/editorial_opinion/oped/articles/2005/07/25/ending_bias_in_domestic_assault_law/

"The state coalitions against domestic violence, which formally require member organizatations to embrace the feminist analysis of abuse as patriarchal coercion, play a vital role in the allocation of federal grants and in overseeing the implementation of programs and policies."

Why continue with this lie?

Why are some women so slutty? Not to say that all women are, but I've met some girls who REALLY get around. Why do they do this? Don't they know it's demeaning and stupid. I mean sometimes I don't mind if a girl's easy, but some girls are just like really out there, you know. I don't mean to sound sexist in any way I am just wondering.

She founded what became Planned Parenthood, but did you know that her agenda was to eliminate the reproduction of the "bad strains" of folks in our society (her thinking parallelled Hitler's) which especially included Blacks & the Impoverished & anyone who was not "white bread"?

Quote Margaret Sanger in her "The ***** Project" plan for America :

"Colored people are like human weeds and are to be exterminated."

http://blackgenocide.org/*****.html

I find this appalling, and even more appalling is that so many young black women go to PP and get abortions every day. Right now, today, 1 of every 3 black babies concieved is aborted.

If you are black and a woman, are you aware of these statistics? Why would you go to that organization for ANYTHING when the origin was (and still is) to exterminate your "sub-race"?

Is it only ignorance on your part or outright apathy?

Personally I love Asian women, I think there is something very special about them, I love the way they look physically and believe they have beautiful souls. But I hate when people say that men who love Asian women do so because they are submissive, docile, or don't stand up for themselves. I really don't understand this, why do people take Asian women with high morales, grace, and classiness and try to take it as a weakness. Women talk about being independent, strong, and progressive but I don't really see it. More and more when these days are having kids at younger ages and out of wedlock, where as you don't see that with Asian women. Asian women women also on average are higher paid then women of other races, and also have a higher percentage of getting of getting college degrees then any other race. Also look at the skyrocketing HIV and STD infections in women, its happening to all women except you guessed it Asian women. Look at the women you see in public that are extremely loud and cursing, and then look at the Asian who carry themselves with class and don't have to resort to using that gutter language. Look at the the women who need to wear revealing clothes to get attention, you rarely see this with Asian women. Look at the divorce rates, Asian women have the lowest divorce rates of any women. How can anyone honestly believe Asian women are submissive and docile when they are so much more successful, why would they even want to act like American women?

In all honesty which one sounds more independent and progressive?
Asian women
-On average are paid higher
-On average more likely to hold a college degree
-Less likely to have have children at a very young age
-Less likely to have children out of wedlock
-Less likely to catch Aids and STD's
-Lower divorce rate
-Doesn't have to resort to dressing reveling to get attention

or

American women
-On average paid less the Asian women
-Less likely to hold college degrees then Asian women
-More likely to have children out of wedlock
-More Likely to have children at a younger age
-More likely to catch Aids or STD
-Higher divorce rate
-more likely to wear revealing clothes

Now honestly who seems like the progressive and independent one, and which one seems like a train wreck?

The problem with American women is that they think being rude to men, being pro miscues, and basically having no morales or direction some how makes them free and independent. As for Asian women I hope they never become completely Americanized, I hope they keep their sweet, classy, and caring personalities. I want them to know there are tons of men out their who love them and don't believe the submissive/docile BS.

How odd...there must be. I have always assumed that women in general viewed themselves as inferior. Please explain how a woman might arrive at a position of feeling superior to men. Which criteria are focused upon in order to conclude superiority? What makes a woman better than a man?

Why aren't we equal?

Generally men are perverted in some way or another. Women need to realize that they are human and that perversion is the way to a man's heart.

She volunteered the information to me, but when I ask her to elaborate, she says either "i"m not going to tell you about my crisis", or just shakes her head and waves her hand to dismiss it. Would that lead you to believe it was something she is afraid to tell me about?
