The word feminist simply means advocating equality for all. Not only women, but minorities, disabled, elderly etc. Anyone can thus be a feminist. There have just been far to many distortions of the definition by people that feel threatened by equality. Those in the priveledged class who do not wish to lose their upper hand. Think about who runs the media and how propaganda distorts the whole idea. Who benefits but those who would lose out by getting rid of oppression. Look up feminism in the dictionary. In fact it was early feminists, such as Lucretia Coffin, and Sojourner Truth who openly opposed slavery and pursued emancipation of the people of colour, in the United States.

Men can be real, if not better, feminists than women. Many women feel that way mainly because they are women, but for a person outside of the sex to share those thoughts and feelings, they can bring a new perspective and gain needed acceptance from others outside of the sex.

Yes of course!
Could a white person be pro-civil rights in the 60s? Yes.
Didn't white people help run the underground railroad to help slaves escape the slaves escape the south? Even though white people benefited from their dominance of black people, many still fought for equality.

Just because men generally benefit from the inferior position of women in society doesn't mean they all believe that it is just and can't support equality for all people!

It is possible for a man to be a feminist because they can also object to the role of women just like anyone else, but not a complete feminist. A woman can be a chauvinist, but that would not make them complete chauvinists. Depends how you look at it.

it is not being threatened; it is not because of the fact of a few fictitious stand against some assumed male dominance; it is not approximately equality. equivalent pay for equivalent artwork has been a actuality for some years, as has EEO or equivalent Employment threat, a coverage which artificially employs and advances women, specific ethnic communities, and black human beings. the excuses women do not get carry of equivalent pay in some factors, yet greater pay in others have been reported at large length; one wide-unfold reason is that adult males nonetheless occupy maximum folk of jobs that are risky - women/feminists do not % those jobs - they % to be intense flying company executives, legal experts and medical doctors on 5 minutes experience, and that they % it NOW. adult males oftentimes do not band mutually to combat feminism - they for my area combat against Feminazism, it is the novel arm of feminism dedicated to the overthrow of the allegedly male-ruled society and all it stands for, inclusive of the legal/judicial/penal device, the disempowerment politically, economically and in each incorrect way of adult males, or maybe the violent alleviation of the male inhabitants by using ninety%. If adult males ever did band mutually and acted the way many feminists do - violent intrusion into conferences, abuse, insult, actual violence, branch stacking of party club to realize their political objectives, and so on, it may be an entire distinctive ball game - lots greater of an equivalent Sexual Armageddon than is at the instant the way it is - with one element doing all of the battling and attacking, the different protecting itself and then being accused of hate for doing so. it fairly is not hate and it fairly is not approximately equality - it fairly is only and easily approximately adult males rightfully protecting themselves against rabid lunacy and violence it is heaped on them on an wide-unfold basis.

Of course.
I believe there are many men who really acknowledge the value of women.
There are men who can love a woman for who she is, what she thinks, what are her objectives in life, and NOT ONLY for how she looks. (only, because i know looks is a part of your personality).
There are men who can work with a woman as equal and can share knowledge and acomplishments.
There are men who can share the responsabilities of a house that is shared with a woman.
There are men who have vote for a woman.
There are men who knows that a woman deserves the same respect that they men do, not less not more.

Dictionary definition? Or the reality of our culture's definition of feminist? Yes to the first, probably not to the latter.

The raunchy feminists who have been spreading their cesspool of perverted ideologies to the destruction of a once-moral and respected society have been mostly women...and still are.
