Not at all. My gyno is a man, and he is a great doctor, very knowledgeable, thorough, competent and caring.
I tried female doctors, and had many bad experiences with them. They tended to be physically rougher during the exam, as if to prove they are not gay or something. They are generally less sympathetic and have a "Oh that happens to all women" attitude, which is really annoying and also means it is more difficult to get a diagnosis if something is wrong.

I have had a male gynecologist for years now and I couldn't possibly think of going to anyone else. I pay no attention to the fact he is a man. I ask questions and he answers. Don't you sometimes think you have to feel sorry for their wives though? I mean don't you think once in a while he looks at her down there and thinks Oh no, another one! LOL

i think of that's kinda like a mechanic looking decrease than the hoods of automobiles all day. some seem a splash diverse, yet they are regularly an identical. I propose some stuff is gross, so perhaps in the previous each thing the male docs have been bothered, yet they get used to it. My male rfile has been doing his interest for like 25 years. He contains on a verbal replace with me everytime he does a pelvic examination like it particularly is not something.

I feel more comfortable having a woman and I know my husband think so; he wouldn't dream of me having a male gynecologist.

No it doesn't. I had a very good gynecologist that was a man & my onocoloy gynecologist was a man. I have the utmost trust and faith in both of them.

No, I'll see a male gynecologist. The way I see it is that he's seen so many nude female bodies that he's not going to remember mine!

can't speak for females. But both of my wives went to males. The first one because she figured they would tend to be more competent, given the attendant ravages of affirmative action.
It's a fact, people. It's a hell of a lot harder for a white male to get into med school than it is for women and minorities.

Yes, I've been seeing only women gynecologists for years now. In fact I prefer women doctors in general. They tend to pay more attention and give more credence.

I've only had females doctors, so I don't know if I'd like a male one. I've never had one to compare.
I think initionally it might bug me, I don't know if I'd get used to it or go find another female

i have had women doctors. i dont feel comfy with a man. though if i was to ever have a male gyn, he would have to be an old fella. someone not handsome looking around my age. it would just intimidate me and make me very nervous to have someone like him looking between my legs
