It all depends on the woman. My mother for example has almost no sex drive (from what I can see) because she is always stressed out. However, some of her friends who have less stress, and are married or have boyfriends probably have a higher sex drive. Like I said it all depends on the woman and how she lives her life. A woman who is not afraid to express her sexuality in her 20s will continue to do so 40+, but a woman who has been sexually repressed most of her life will not just suddenly get a boost once she hits her 40s.

It increases due to increased confidence, experience and lessening of the fear of getting pregnant. Women have a period of time in their 20's and 30's when they are generally wiped out from raising children and taking care of a home and possibly even working full time too. By the time they are in their 40's, the kids are older and can manage themselves most of the time and don't require constant vigilence. She usually feels better about her body and can ask for what she wants sexually. I know that I am 41 and have never felt sexier - even in my early 20's - before having children. I know that I look great and I know that I am a good partner too. So, yes, I would definitely say desire increases.

for sure it increases. Why do you think so many younger men want women that are 40 plus?

Depends on the women. It's usually to do with the amount of male hormones versus female hormones. Some women in their 40's will find they have a loss of libido and for other's they will find their sex drives goes through the roof!

sometimes it increases. I saw this on some talk show, some mature women with high sex drives. Doesn't testosterone increase for women as they age.. cause grannies start sounding like men, lower voice and they become ugly like men. So if testerone in creases, then sex drive does too
