As a woman, I totally agree! You do the crime you should do the time. men and women should be treated the same. Rape is Rape no matter who you are or what you are.

Yes I do even more so because usually it is boys (minors) beeing raped by women often with the aid of drugs and alcohol. However if the boy consented to having sex she should be punished less fiercly since it is only considered rape because the boy was minor, I think someting only some states in the US do while other countries differentiate between sex with minors and rape. I dont think a 21 year old woman should be punished too fiercly for having had sex with a 17 year old boy, after all a lot of young adults had sex with women between 15 and 17 which by textbook is also considered rape although having been consensual sex

I think all sexual predator's should get the same sentence. Whether it be jail for life or just kill em.... Women and men alike... Whether they be rapist or pedophiles. Start killing them off and I bet you will see a whole lot less crimes of that going on.... No long time sitting in jail wasting tax payers money. Have public executions. Hell, make it a holiday...

Dude the legal system is RIFE with inequality between men and women:
The Bureau of Justice System NCJ 143498 report includes:
Men are one fifth as likely as women to be acquitted for the same crime.
Men are 16% more likely to be imprisoned if convicted.
Men receive prison sentences 2.7 times longer than women for the same crime.
This should ALL be equal.

Yes Yes Yes and sometimes More. I have heard about so many children that were molested by their mothers and never said a word. Why? because no child wants to get their mother in trouble. We as a society do not believe women can be sex offenders. Women are stereotyped as caring and giving, men can be monsters but not women and for all of you that do believe this watch the movie "Sybil".
As for when the minor wants to have sex with the adult I don't know why there is even a law called Statutory Rape. The minor should be the one to decided of they were raped, not the state. All this law means is, yes you had sex with some one older than you but you are too young to have sex, so we will send the adult to jail because they are older than you not necessarily more mature but just older. In soceity we allow boys to be sexual but not girls and that is where the problems and double standards begin. A girl can equally enjoy sex with her male teacher but we do not want girls to enjoy sex so we say she was raped. Since boys are allowed to be sexual when it happens to them we say what's the big deal.

You confuse equality of opportunity with equality of identity. You also are very confused on the legal ramifications. We do not treat statutory rape with the same severity that we treat rape. A " little " 14 year old boy is being seduced, not forced and the law reflects this. This is why we try to be a nation of law, not of men. If we held your proposal up to only male voters tomorrow; it would be soundly defeated and you know it. You compare apples and oranges and expect the rest of us to see this as equal. Get Real!

these girls picked me up , all four wanted me,I didn't wont to but with one ,well ,maybe two.but l got em all eventually I used to be damn good looking, was it rape,? if I Had been a women it should have been classified as that. But i sure enjoyed it even if I didn't wont to do it with them all . no way making sex and love was real rape I guess, rape is when a man does it .not a group got horny women making me do it,this was my way for a long time,. all of them were at least OK.But they did force so yes I was rapped,
no female rapist should not. be put it in jail.unless the boy is under 12. I got some when I was 13 from an older girl.whats wrong this that?? well? whats wrong with that,?? . I incuraged my boys to go out a get some. Its different for them. me,.My pecker went right along with it all,.I cant tell him a thing. he listens not .he pops up only to the primordial urges for orgies, ,If I had come out of that house calling rape I would have ostracized from society.and labeled a queer.for life and laughed.at ever where. what a hoot that would have been to lots of folks.No... sex from young boys with older women should be protected .my way it should be unlawful.unless the boy doesnt wont to do it.or is under like 12.but the sentence should get long., now with true molesting of very small kids . they should in put in jail a long long time. having sex and getting molested is two things altogether I know I was molested a s a very young child and he should have gone to jail... the prevert.I know what that is,You leave the young ones alone till they get up to an age were they wont to have sex, and it really is not wrong if a boy falls for a girl older and then its broken up.I fell in love with a lady she was 24 i WAS I5,,FOR A YEAR, i LOVED HER,

I agree. That whole story about the teacher who had sex with a 13-year old student and then was allowed to go home for Christmas "for her children" was crazy.
Oh and Sonisunny, how do you KNOW he doesn't suffer as much? Doesn't being coerced into something he's not comfortable with leave just as many emotional scars because it has emasculated him?
And another thing: boys CAN be raped. Just because he doesn't have an erection doesn't mean he hasn't been sexually assaulted.

Yes they should.
More importantly though, male rape reports should have to be taken more seriously. It is a fact that they are generally disreguarded. When a woman makes a rape report, whether it is true or not, it is investigated with a thoroughness that causes a lot of problems for the man in question.
It has nothing to do with equality of the sexes, it has to do with the severity of the crime.

Yes, except that they should be both (male, female) sent to psychiatric clinics instead of prisons because it is mainly a psychological problem rather then a purely sexual one (love of control and power over their victims).
There should be equality in these matters. A lot of women (including mothers who molest their own children) often get away because children are simply afraid of the consequences.
