This is a compilation of scenes from movies that are supposed to be funny or "empowering to women":

Switch the sexes around and we'd have rhinoceruses with makeup parading through the streets with placards in no time.

So first of all, if feminists are about equality, and constantly complain about far more minor depictions of women in the media, why is this completely ignored?

And.. why is violence by women against men so glorified and popular in the media and representative of "female empowerment", feminists?

I do not feel empowered by these images. I am ashamed that there is such a huge double standard here and these things make me cringe from top to toe.

It is a sad fact that this sort of thing would raise a laugh or cackle of 'YOU GO GIRL's' in any cinema you would be unfortunate enough to be seeing them. Especially when the same cinema would be picketed by a herd of angry 'feminists' if they were images of men assaulting women in the context of funny or powerful.

It's shameful.

Karma.

I don't really see this as an entirely valid question. I'd have to agree that the femi-nazi movement has become burdensome to all, but just have a look around you. Society is crumbling right before our eyes due in large part to their efforts. As far as justifying femi-nazism, I don't see that anybody should consider themselves better or worse than exactly who they are in the eyes of God. When egos run wild, this is the result. They'll answer for their disservice to society as will the men who have been pussywhipped into supporting them. Unfortunately they will leave a lot of collateral damage in their wake including children that are confused and lost. I hope there is still some decency left somewhere in the world when the good ole US of A falls in on itself because these kids are gonna be lost for sure. They are doing everything they were taught to do and still its not working out for anyone. They will need some serious guidance to get them back in order. But for now, natural progression is due its time.

Misandry crimes against males do exist, but as a majority women in general do not support such crimes, they are carried out by a small population of women and this reflects on the group as a whole. I wish they would stop because they believe they are furthering the cause when in fact all they do is set it back. as for the double standard thing the web spell checker doesn't even recognize the word misandry and yet it does recognize the word misogyny and misandry is far more widely practiced then misogyny. Unfortunately I believe that the cause is that their are many people who have a poor education, not by choice, and this causes them to make bad decisions that hurt everyone including themselves.

'i've got not yet seen a guy or woman call for ending violence against adult men for despite reason.' i've got seen lots, the two in this talk board and in genuine existence (the place I stay there are continually calls to place an end to gang violence and give up boys/adult men killing one yet another, to illustrate >>> projects oftentimes working into massive sums of money) Regardless I agree that we would desire to continually be focusing on struggling with violence finished give up

Don't believe everything you see on "youtube." The issue is far more complicated than you think and has many dimensions representatitve of many womens' voices. Feminism does not necessarily glorify violence against men. But you are correct in your perception of a double standard. While it is humorous to show men being abused, if the roles were reversed everyone would be outraged. That's just the society we live in now.

I believe women should be given the chance to do what men can do.

I believe in equal rights for women

In the middle ages, if a woman knew how to read it was considered that she had a loose up bringing.

It was at one stage believed that women could not be as good at medicine as men could.

In short it was believed that females should be raised to be mothers and let men do all the hard stuff.

Ever since the begining of time, women have always been considered the weaker sex.

The feminist movement is all about showing, that women are as strong as men.

Have you ever heard of the Henly on Todd. It is a famous boat race without water, that is held every year in the red hot centre of Australia.

One of the competitions that they have was a shovelling race, where competitors have to shovel as much dirt into a metal drum in a certain time. They have a men's division and a women's division.

The year I went to see it, a woman decided to enter the men's division. There were no rules against it, but she did enter, and she won. Now that is female empowerment.

If a women beats up on a man.....that is not empowerment, that is just being a bully. Especially if she has no reason for her actions.

If however the man did something to the woman that resulted in her belting the living c%#& out of him. Then that is female empowerment.

Basically if you can't handle the consequences of your wrong actions then don't commit the wrong action to start with. Regardless of what sex you are.

As a woman, I'm all about being strong, confident and independent. But if someone needs to put him/herself into a category, then they are not all that independent. I don't get the whole feminist movement.

I am a women whom see feminist as a serious sign of insecurity or envy of men. If you like to be whom you are, in this case women, you won't have to prove you can act like a men. What is the deal about women acting like men? What is the point? To prove we are capable to do what they do?
I think men are physically stronger the us, women, but that does not make us to be fragile, weak or look like stupid. They already know we are as smart as they are and stupid as they can be as well. The only thing is needed to be clear is men and women are different. Different does not mean better or worse than this or that, it means just what is means, different.
Because of this insecurity brought to us by feminism, day after day, we see men treating women like their buddies or trash. I am sick and tired of men treat me like one of them to show respect. If I push to be treated like a women, they get the wrong idea of thinking I am some low life women and loose the respect. They just get lost.
I have seem women cursing men just because they tried to be polite by open a door for them to pass. There is no need to be a genius to see, we have hands as well and therefore, we are capable to open a doortoo. What is the problem, if a men politely antecipate to open a door for us?
A good freind of mine told me being stunt after a date with a women, he was months trying to ask out but was kind of shy about how to invite her out. When he finally got a date with her and finished a very plesant dinner, he politely didn't accept to share the bill and pay all the amount. The women got so upset, that asked him if he thinks she was a whore and left him right there on the restaurant !!!
I think feminists are those kind of women, whom enjoys be treated like trash, those whom enjoying having a door slam on their face.

What's wrong with them, women do have power. Sometimes more than men. But it is true that girls are depicted as sluts on T.V. I love girls, I don't want them to feel violated, especially the hot ones. I would kill myself if there were none in the world. LOL
You can tell im a 14 year old kid.

The movement sucks. They just haven't had the right man to give it to them the way they should have it. If they did it woulnd't even take penetration. He would just handle them right. Isn't that right baby? Ask 'Leftovers' He will tell you all you need to know.
