I work predominantly with women and was wondering what was best to put in any christmas cards I give. Those that I have received from women have all been "happy christmas, love from".

Was wondering if it is a bad idea for a guy to put that in a card to a women.

Just that putting simply "Happy christmas, from" seems a bit thoughtless.

Any ideas?

we all know that men esp in india like to treat women like junk
when its their sister they will murder a guy for looking at her-they will not allow her to dress the least bit revealing but when its another woman they want as revealing as possible without considering that she is a sister and a daughter too?
i would realli like the know how men justify this! you may not fit in this category so enlighten me by saying something good!

I mean first of all I just admire and am amazed at how strong rape victims can be to keep their child even though the child it's the rapist's child.

I mean if I got pregnant by rape, I would put it up for adoption. I couldn't stand seeing that part of him in this child forever. Well on the other hand what if this child ended up in the hands of abusive parents. I just answered my own question.

Thoughts?

Last night, I was at the movies. After my movie ended, I went to the bathroom - there was a short line for the men's room, and a longer line for the ladies room.

Right after I got in line, a guy brought his girlfriend into the men's room (I could hear her telling him "I can't wait in that line! I have to go") and he and his girlfriend cut the line, he walked her to the only stall in the mens room, and as soon as the guy in the stall came out she went right in.

Was it OK for her to use the mens room?

Or should she have waited on line to use the ladies room, even though she would have had to wait a lot longer to go to the bathroom?

And should she have cut the line and gone right to the only toilet, or should she have waited on line (even though she needed the stall and the guys could have used either the stall or the urinals)?

how long should we wait before we begin to look at things as human problems and non-human problems ? and ....one step further....would it be appropriate to have an organization whose stated purpose was to further the interests of tall white american men? (or to address the problems which are of interest to that group). Keeping in mind that any problem suffered by any member of any group will certainly be suffered by other members of other groups. I am not being flippant here when i say for example domestic abuse, whose victims are ALMOST exclusively female, the fact is not every single victim is female. So those members of those groups effectively fall through the cracks, and isnt every group formed to help people who have some special circumstances which are in some ways out of their control, and isnt that groups purpose to provide some form of empowerment. Why leave out any individual? why isnt every individual welcome and encouraged to benefit from any group interested in equality?

I read a question on Yahoo Answers yesterday asking women whether they have had sex with their partner whilst he was asleep. I'm interested to hear what your thoughts are about the following two scenarios:

1. A man has sex with his wife/girlfriend whilst she is asleep. Do you find this acceptable? Would you describe this as rape?

2. A woman has sex with her husband/boyfriend while he is asleep. Do you find this acceptable? Would you describe this as rape?

I've noticed that in problem pages in magazines, women whose partners are refusing to have sex are usually advised to leave them, or are told that they need professional help, whilst men who write in with the same problem with their partners are usually lectured on how it's 'her choice'. Why do you think this double-standard exists?
