Can I help her see? She thinks that because some kind of food tastes good for her then everyone else should like it and when you explain to her hundreds of times that "I dont like it", she still says "but its good". She applies this mentality to everything and it is driving me crazy after trying for years to explain to her in everyway possible that people are different.
Another example - she is always usually physically cold - even when it's in the 80 degree range. We live in a tropical climate and on and off for years Ive had to sleep seperate from her so I can use a fan or A/C while she has pj's and blankets - while its literally 81 degrees in the house and humid out. So after literally 100's maybe 1000's of times after explaining to her in every human way possible I can think of that I am hot and I need the fan or AC she will say "but its almost december you dont need AC". This may seem all petty but when you live with it constantly and its applied to everything its so hard. Help???

I've seen this happen and it also happened to me. Three women jumped in my car, took me to a house and took turns on me. I was scared to death. Since then I have read peoples comments that men can't get raped. Arousal is possible through physical stimulation and can not be controlled by the man. This is the first time I have spoken of it. How do I get over the fear that it might happen again?

It is so much more difficult to change than external appearances and behavior...

Actually the more I examine myself, the more I hate myself -- the more I look back -- I was and still am fairly... well... evil... if there be such a thing.

It is just so hard to change one's will and inner feelings even though one does not act upon them or may act differently on the outside: I'm very selfish, jealous, perverted, angry, narcissistic, cold and empty...

i'm a 19 yr old woman. i know ppl are gonna get judgemental here but i had no other choice...i had a one-night stand with this guy. he's known to me otherwise and is 21. i got pregnant and had to abort coz i'm still in uni and i didn't want to quit school. to cut a long story short this guy got to know about it and he's very angry with me. it was just a one-night stand....he shouldn't be acting this way. i mean there wasn't any emotions involved. what am i supposed to make out of this. i lost a child...i killed it.....it's weighing down on me and on top of this he's not making things easy. he told me that i should have informed him. but i thought against it.....what he didn't accept it or....

If you support the idea that young teenagers should be encouraged to take a virginity pledge and get a purity ring as a symbol of their promise to themselves? If you support it, do you think it's equally as important for both sexes or just for the girls? I've heard of purity balls given for the girls when they get their rings but I've never heard of a boy getting a party. Do they have them, too, or am I just out of the loop on what's going on with this trend?

I really need to change. I'm very shy and care too much about what other people think of me. If I answer a question infront of the class my face goes bright red and I can dwell on things like this for a week. My friends think I'm stupid and say i'm too self obsessed. I honestly don't think I can change it's easy enough people saying "life's too short" but no matter what I do I can't seem to gain confidence. People tell me i'm attractive but if i see one bad photo of myself my confidence will drop and I will think I'm worthless and not good enough to talk to anyone. If I answer a question in class I always think nothing I say is of any importance and that everynoe is judging me :( anyone else feel like me and do you have any advice on how to gain confidence? thanks a lot x

I have believed all my life in the goodness of others and trusted with all my heart that good things happen to good people. That has not been the case for me in many respects, but I still beleive that no good can come of happiness that is gotten from someone elses pain...
It doesn't look as thou that is true. Manipulation, lies and a calculated plan over 3 years has taken from me someone very. very loved and dear to my heart.
I do all I can to try to still believe that the purity of my feelings will win out in the end- but after 1 year I will need to give up my belief that pure love can survive any storm and will be the strongest force ...
I am a dreamer, a beleiver in all that is truely good in this world- not a sugar coated "good person" who does the right thing so others know it and Ican be thought of as a "good person".. but act everyday and help in every and any small way that i can.
Is it true that evil seeks to destroy good.. and that evil usually wins?

i asked this question before and receaved good answers. i tried to follow them but now around one month no improvement. having some problem concentrating on things.
i started doing medatition and seems like feeling having anxiety attack or panic mode at times. mostly are about me and my mother. but the problem is i imagine things i shouldnt.i started medatition more to over come this but cant.
like me and my mom who is a widow we live in a big city. she is not very educated but strong woman. but i keep seeing evil dreams about us. mother went to village to collect her rent from land she has but while she was gone for 4 days i couldnt sleep...i saw that some dakus came at night and at gun point tied her mouth and carried her away. then they ask money and i couldnt find any. dreams like this often makes me very uneasy. should i ask my mom or guruji who makes me medetite what to do? why i am again and again see that bad people are keeping mother mouth tied with rags and tied helpless

You sit down at your desk at work and your boss is already breathing down your neck about 'the deadline'.

How do you personally deal with the day you've had.
Do you go the the firing-range to let off a few shots, take valium? What about listening to Radiohead or taking your frustrations out on a punchbag?

For me, I go buy myself a bag of freshly baked toffee and white chocolate cookies, still warm and gooey from the oven, and I take my time to eat them, savouring the sweet flavours one torn off chunk at a time.

I believe that there are two kind of peoples ......good and bad.
Good ones are those who help others and bad persons cheat.
And also that good peoples can't be bad and bad persons can't be good.........one is either good or bad.
But in society emphasis is on being good ......that everyone can be good person if he follows the rules and respect others etc.
But I think nobody changes .......it is fixed that one is good and bad right from the beginning

I dreamt that i won the lottery but i didnt tell my wife. I went out of my way to be nasty to her untill she eventually divorced me. I then claimed the money without telling her and went on to live a fantastic single life. We bumped into each other many years later and i had turned into a tramp and she was rich and attractive
