Ignoring just doesn't work for me yet. For some reason I take things to heart still. I want to be able to let them go once I hear them and forget about them.

It use to be thought that sleep is nothing but an annihilation of consciousness. Through the ages scientists and thinkers have been trying to determine why people have to sleep. A sleeping brain can do things an awake brain can't. What are those things the brain can do while asleep?

I'm referring to the type of woman that fears everything unknown, is constantly complaining, will cry over a paper cut, and can't even throw a paper ball five feet.

I see this image too often in society where alot of women are adopting these terrible traits. I see this projected even on television. Especially on the Lifetime Channel at night, which is ironic, don't you think? lol.

i mean i guess it is for some things

but in many situations i think it would be far worse to live than to die. to me, death is just a part of life that everyone goes through and if you kill someone for a punishment, it could be the easy way out for them.

which is why i think, ppl commit suicide.
most ppl are afraid of dying but i think it'd be more terrifying and cruel to continue living in some cases

The right clothes. The right makeup. The right hair style. The right look. The thousands of hours spent trying to look attractive?

If more women spent half as much time worrying about looking physically attractive and used this time and energy to feed their minds instead, to expand their knowledge and life experiences, would they be less attractive? Shouldn’t a more complete woman be more attractive?

Are we that superficial that we can’t see intelligent, educated, knowledgeable women as more attractive? Men aren’t subjected to the same scrutiny. Why the double-standards?

It's not likely that Einstein spent, or Hawkin spends, much time worrying about the right look, the right hair style.

...It seems so.

Here is a typical conversation with someone clueless about men's rights activists:

clueless: "Why do you want women to have no rights?"

MRA: "We want women to have "equal" rights to men. No more, no less.

clueless: "Why do you hate feminism when all they want is equality?"

MRA: First wave feminists fought for equality. Today the fight is for special treatment, PC speech codes & Marxist ideas.

clueless: "Why do MRAs want to allow men to beat their wives? Why the fuss over VAWA?"

MRA: Last time I checked, beating ANYONE was illegal & punishable. There is no need for VAWA. ...Other than to demonize men & take away their Constitutional rights. The name alone is quite sexist and misleading considering domestic violence happens to BOTH men & women.

clueless: "Why do you want women to have no rights?"

MRA: OK, I'm going to get a beer.

As I said in another question I have been having these weird dreams. Even though I am a laid back comedic kinda guy. Lets get this out of the way, I haven't watched any movies that would cause this lately, my Xbox 360 broke and has been getting repaired for the past two weeks so it's not videogames. And I don't no anybody in the millitary. Here is the newest dream in my series of dreams which seem to link each other in the past two months.

-I was sitting on the edge of a helicopter, it was dark and raining, the wind was howling and the helicopter was shaking. I looked down through the blackness upon miles of soaked rubble. I saw small groups of soldiers marching slowly through the rubble carring the wounded. Sometimes a soldier would point up at the helicopter and then quickly continued walking. The helicopter turned around and started flying into the distance. Of in the horizon I saw a disfigured looking statue on a small island of shore, i couldn't make out any details though. END

People never talk to me. Or anyone else. They just want time alone. I hate being alone. How can this be? How do people entertain themselves being all alone.

Why aren't we as progressive as other countries in terms of who we elect to the highest office? Women don't even run here. I know, of course, Hillary is bucking this trend, but it's a little late, isn't it? Is our country's structure more patriarchal than other first world countries like England and Germany? Most western European countries have had a female as their most powerful leader. We haven't. Why?

TO ALL MY WONDERFUL WOMEN OUT THERE! HAVE A BEAUTIFUL DAY!

One Flaw In Women

By the time the Lord made woman,

He was into his sixth day of working overtime.

An angel appeared and said,

"Why are you spending so much time on this one?"

And the Lord answered, "Have you seen my spec sheet on her?

She has to be completely washable, but not plastic,

have over 200 movable parts, all replaceable

and able to run on diet coke and leftovers,

have a lap that can hold four children at one time,

have a kiss that can cure anything from a scraped knee to a broken heart

-and she will do everything

with only two hands."

The angel was astounded at the requirements.

"Only two hands!? No way!

And that's just on the standard model?

That's too much work for one day.

Wait until tomorrow to finish."

But I won't," the Lord protested.

"I am so close to finishing this creation that is so close to my own heart.

She already heals herself when she is sick

AND can work 18 hour days."

The angel moved closer and touched the woman.

"But you have made her so soft, Lord."

"She is soft," the Lord agreed,

"but I have also made her tough.

You have no idea what she can endure or accomplish."

"Will she be able to think?", asked the angel.

The Lord replied,

"Not only will she be able to think,

she will be able to reason and negotiate."

The angel then noticed something,

and reaching out, touched the woman's cheek.

"Oops, it looks like you have a leak in this model.

I told you that you were trying to put too much into this one."

"That's not a leak,"

the Lord corrected,

"that's a tear!"

"What's the tear for?" the angel asked.

The Lord said, "The tear is her way of expressing her joy,

her sorrow, her pain, her disappointment, her love,

her loneliness, her grief and her pride."

The angel was impressed.

"You are a genius, Lord.

You thought of everything!

Woman is truly amazing."

And she is!

Women have strengths that amaze men.

They bear hardships and they carry burdens,

but they hold happiness,

love and joy.

They smile when they want to scream.

They sing when they want to cry.

They cry when they are happy

and laugh when they are nervous.

They fight for what they believe in.

They stand up to injustice.

They don't take "no" for an answer

when they believe there is a better solution.

They go without so their family can have.

They go to the doctor with a frightened friend.

They love unconditionally.

They cry when their children excel

and cheer when their friends get awards.

They are happy when they hear about

a birth or a wedding.

Their hearts break when a friend dies.

They grieve at the loss of a family member,

yet they are strong when they think there is no strength left.

They know that a hug and a kiss

can heal a broken heart.

Women come in all shapes, sizes and colors.

They'll drive, fly, walk, run or e-mail you

to show how much they care about you.

The heart of a woman is what makes the world keep turning.

They bring joy, hope and love.

They have compassion and ideals.

They give moral support to their family and friends.

Women have vital things to say and everything to give.

HOWEVER, IF THERE IS ONE FLAW IN WOMEN,

IT IS THAT THEY FORGET THEIR WORTH.

PLEASE pass this along to all your women friends and relatives

to remind them just how amazing they are.

I'm 15 and my mother dreamed of me being pregnant. Ironically a few days ago she found out that my brother is expecting a baby and one of the details she heard was that my brother's baby's mother took 3 pregnancy tests. In my mother's dreams she said that I took 3 pregnancy test and they all came back positive just like my brother's baby's mother. So what does this mean? I'm pregnant?

I need responses back as soon as possible. Thanks!

i beleive in child support&womans right to choose however why is it women go to blame mode on men . If you did not want a child you should not have slept with her .

The responsiblty is both the male and the females .We dont say to women if you did not want to get pregnant keep your vagina shut . So why do we go to blame mode on men when they articlaute there concerns ?

I want a new start in life, and I want to severe my ties with my old world and that includes the people that make up this world. I want to change my name and move faraway from where i grew up. I am in college right now and plan on going to law school and then possibly a politician. I want to move away to some random US state with a new name and no old ties and run for office under this identity. I will keep in touch with my family and one close friend through letters and telecommunication on occasion (like say once a month to let them know how I'm doing and if they are okay too), but I wouldn't tell them where I am or what I'm doing. Can I pull this off. Like say for instance that my name is Brian Carter and I'm from New York and I legally change my name to David Andrews and move to some random city or town. Can i do? Is it worth it? I'm just so sick of where I'm going in life and being watched, and simaltaneously being held back. I would do this in about 2-3 years.
