Well from what I've read in my psychology classes (and I'm a fourth year psych major, so I've taken plenty) intelligence tests in general are not a good indicator of intelligence because they do not cover all kinds of intelligence. They cover book smarts only. They do not consider musical ability, street smarts, or other kinds of measures of intelligence. They only measure the basics. Most intelligence tests are a good indicator of how smart you are...ON INTELLIGENCE TESTS! Sorry I don't know any sources to give you.

These test are only really good at judging learning disabilities not intellectal abilities. Also your dealing with a sort of catch-22, as that the more intellgent you become the more you realize ignorance, so really what a person assumes is intellgence is actually an art of memerisation and doesn't reflects one ability to use the information, which is EXTREMELY hard to gauge. Also comes to head with spirtuality and religion, were we have to look at morality which in the field of science has always been an interesting play. Does someone who understands and fellows morality for themselves as intellegent as someone who sacrifices it for the betterment of the society? Or is someone who sacrifices their for the morality of the society for the betterment of their own moriality, more intellegent? See in the end intellegence tries to jude the efficeny of how we use mential processes to achieve a goal, but things become complex when we put the real world in the equation. Would work great if all we did was decephor word puzzles, arthimetic, and handle abstact objects with no purpose. But alas life IS more complex, and NO ONE can judge anyone's path as being better or worse then their own, but it did give me something to brag about in junior high!
