I want to point out , i dont want any girlfiriend having to be subservient to me at all . The reason why i mentioned the Afgani woman on the cover of life magazine is there were post on what an exotic woman would look like . I repeat this has nothing to do with personalty or dominace or subservience but if you wanted to know what an exotic and beautiful woman looked like- look at that picture .

I dont pay attention to eyes that much but hers pierced my soul 15 to 20 years ago .

I don't consider myself extremely shy. I do great in small groups and I'm very upbeat and talkative most of the time. However when it comes to speaking in front of a group I get really nervous. I'm 16 and I have a little more control over it now than I use to. Am I the only one who gets nervous with a shaking voice when I have to speak in front a group even if it's 8 people? I'm working on it, but I'd like to know I'm not alone in this. Thanks

I read it a on a friend of mine's blog...I thought it was very interesting. I agree with some things on it and I disagree with other things

lemme know what you guys think?

"Don't hate me because I am white.

You pass me on the street and sneer in my direction.

You call me "Cracker", "Honkey", "Whitey" and even "The Man" and you think it's OK.

But when I call you, "******", "Kike", "Towelhead", "Sand-******", "Camel Jockey", "Beaner" or "Chink" you call me a racist.

You say that whites commit a lot of violence against you, so why are the ghettos the most dangerous places to live?

You say that you want to make a change in this country.

How? By protesting everything that we believe in? By trying to change everything that has made this country run fine for centuries?

You have Martin Luther King Day.

You have Cesar Chavez Day.

You have Yom Hashoah

You have Cinco de Mayo

You have Ma'uled Al-Nabi

If we had a White Pride Day you would call us racists.

In the Million Man March, you believed that you were marching for your race and rights.

If we marched for our race and rights, you would call us racists.

You enjoy the thought of Driver's Licenses for illegals.

We enjoy the thought of people obeying the laws of the land in which they reside. No negotiations.

You are proud to be black, brown, yellow and orange, and you're not afraid to announce it.

But when we announce our white pride, you call us racists.

You call each other "******", but when we call you that, you call us racists.

You rob us, carjack us, and shoot at us.

But, when a white police officer shoots a gang member or beats up a drug-dealer running from the law and posing a threat to society, you call him a racist.

We work hard to preserve our history.

You come along and try to re-write it.

We want a safe environment for our families and children.

You want to bring the ghetto to our neighborhoods.

I am white.

I am proud.

I am an American.

But, you call me a racist.

this is a recurring dream - I know in my dream that I've parked my car in a big carpark but when I go to look for it I usually can't find it. The carpark is different each time, sometimes it's somewhere i recognise; other times it's new to me.

I have noticed this from observing female news reporters, female politicians, professors etc.

Why do women feel that they have to kill every single nurturing maternal female attribute in order to gain positions of leadership?

If they become exactly like the "evil" men (and in many cases even worse, since they are more prone to "catiness" than men), how is this progress for human society?

How do you feel about gray hair? I find women who don't dye their hair and leave it gray so confident and their hair so beautiful. I think it's a part of embracing your age and who you are, and I know it's easy for me to say because I'm not there yet, but what are your thoughts?

I've just started Uni and there's a really good looking guy who goes to my Aikido club, he is slightly older (don't worry I'm 18) and I really want to talk to him. He seems really quite reserved to be honest, and doesn't talk much, but I just want to get to know him!

Trouble is, I'm lacking greatly in confidence! Does anybody know of any ways in which to build self-esteem? I'm not ugly, and people say I am pretty but I only feel slightly confident when I have a couple of drinks in me, and I'm the last person to resort to drinking to build my confidence up!

So therefore, just looking for tips and advice about building up confidence and self-esteem as I haven't even spoken to this guy yet and already I'm writing myself off.

I'm 17, I feel sad all the time, and eating feels like a chore and an effort. If I do eat, I feel really full and even more sad, and the food tastes tasteless. During this past week, I went 2 and a half days without eating and not even feeling hungry. The other day my college tutor took me into my office took me into her office and said I looked depressed and tiered. She also said I look like i've lost a lot of weight, and that I look skinny, and fragile, and that my coller bones and hip bones stuck out too much. Looking at it, I have lost some weighy. I'm 5'8", and naturally a UK size 8-10, now i've dropped down to a size 6. I didn't go into college yesterday because I felt upset. Is this depression or is it just a teenage phase?

Below are 4 answers to various questions, by the same person. What do you think of this person? I realize this is slightly immature, but I am curios if other are offended also?

“Men have much harder lives than women. Women don't do jack squat. Especially American women. Useless leeches. I have not ever married or dated an American woman. I cannot even bear them, let alone be near them. I don't know how you American guys put up with their crap LOL. Get a foreign girl and see what a lady is supposed to be.”

“MEN'S RIGHTS!!! About time! Rebuke the feminists, all men. I have a heck of a time dealing with guys. Getting into fistfights and verbal competition and ego contests with them is enough for me! I don't need women trying to be men. Because what is a guy supposed to do with a woman trying to be a guy? Does he hit it? Does he treat it like a man or a woman? It's too confusing LOL”

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mid_life_crisis

I believe that my boyfriend's mom is suffering a Mid Life Crisis. She has all the "symptoms" in the above article. She has suffered the loss of her daughter and mother in the same year, my boyfriend is on the verge of turning 21, she's been drinking (she never used to), she's been very concerend with going to the gym and her apperance, she feels out of love with her husband, and she is constantly shopping for new things (like out of nowhere she just had to have a new vehicle).

Other than counseling, which she is already going to, what are some ways to help her out and get her life back to normal? Her family only wants her to be happy, they want her to realize that discovering herself doesn't mean that she has to lose them and all the other things that have already made her happy for so long.

Have you ever experienced this, or been close to someone that has? What are good ways to help her and support her to get her through this?
