The word is learned. I have learned that the ones you loved the most will sometimes hurt you but that does not mean that they do not love you. I have learned that a strong fence makes a good neighbor but you may need that neighbor so don't build a fence so high that you don't get to know them. I have learned that your children will grow up and leave you, but your husband will be there forever so you better treat him great. I have learned that God is the reason for all seasons and if He is the center of your core you can beat anything including the loss of someone you love very much. I have learned that holding the hand of your best friend while you watch them die is very hard to do. I have learned that being a mother and a grandmother are two totally different things. Grandma's are lots more fun. The best advice I ever got was from my mother and she said never to let anyone or anything come between me and my husband to love God first and my husband second and to work at my marriage and always be true to myself. You are very correct time flies. Seems just yesterday I gave birth to my son. Now I am almost 54. I was 19 then. Still in love and very blessed.

I have learned that we are all alone. I have become more religious/spiritual because of it.

I have learned that each person (whether they are mean or even downright rude) are just looking for love and acceptance.

I am still learning how to be a woman that can be intelligent, yet be viewed as sexy without having to bare skin and become the protype of men influenced media propoganda which is ruining our gender. If only women can realize the realities of limitations that really exist in this so called "free" country. Ya right, I feel more sick to my stomach here than lets say when I visited Jordan....ya......women there are more in tune with their sexuality than over here in terms of how to balance our roles and the image criteria's. Sorry was sorta venting huh?? LOL.

oh ya, one more thing.......good men are small percentage in this world, but when you come across them, make sure to appreciate them and keep them as your closest friends.
