This guy doesn't just HAVE a personality problem - he IS a personality problem!!!
Are his attitude and resulting commentaries offensive?
They are so far BEYOND offensive that there is no word in the English language to adequately describe them!
Am I, PERSONALLY, offended?
Not when I consider the source. I think I would be TRULY offended it someone with his set of attitudinal quirks actually LIKED and APPROVED of me!

(Obviously, in his mind, a "lady" is "supposed to be" a mindless doormat.) To my way of thinking, he has offended "foreign girls" with this inane statement far more than he offends American women with his irresponsible rants!
This character clearly doesn't want a relationship with anythingn that LIVES, BREATHES, FEELS or THINKS! He is a perfect candidate for Stepford. "Stepford" is a fictional community created by author Ira Levin back in the 70s (set in upstate New York) wherein the members of the local "Men's Association" were killing off their intelligent, creative and charismatic wives and replacing them with look-alike animatronic robots that were programmed to "think" about nothing but cleaning house (while dressed in fancy ruffled gowns, no less) and pleasing their husbands.
This hateful jerk would be in seventh heaven in such a place!

Put up a link and then we can report the person. If enough people do so then we can get rid of the time wasters and get some good questions on here.
There are quite a few youngsters and some older people who haven't developed past the childish phase of seeking attention by doing bad behaviour.
The problem is that we could either (a) ignore them and they'll get the message and go away or (b) report them and they'll just come back under a different profile.
If we ALL ignored them then they would have to get their attention fix somewhere else.
Alas, there will always be at least one person who will answer it with a snide comment of their own thus giving them the attention they crave.
IGNORE THEM and they will go away because they aren't getting any attention for their behaviour. Pay attention to those who are asking legitimate questions.
This answers site could be really cool but there are people like this person who ruin it for everyone else.
Shame.

I didn't read the post to which you are referring, but I read enough here to get an idea!!
There will always be blind people full of hate, sad but true. I do not tolerate intolerance, as some posters suggest to turn the other cheek and not engage. I tried that route in my life and it NEVER works. About 8 years ago I began fighting fire with fire, and its quite refreshing. Not that its for everyone, but since I consider myself a 'Soulja' Girl', I have a duty to carry out, and will continue to fight the good fight.
My parents were activists, and I remember going to different sorts of rallies and sit-ins when I was a kid in the early 70's. My parents were into 'passive, non violent activism', meaning they would not fight if the police or whoever tried to start one. The plan was to let their bodies go limp, and begin utterings of facts: 12 million children die a day from _____. I never saw them get arrested, tho', and to my knowledge they never did! lol.
I followed their disciplines until awhile back, and read a little Voltaire. I was immediately inspired, and refuse to turn the cheek any longer! Passive activism is lame at best, and our country is in dire straights. I confront my enemies head on with pleasure. Bring it on sucka's!!
And to 'Mafia Girl', I've met a lot of stupid people, but does that mean I'm now allowed to hate ALL people, based on the actions of a few? Do you really believe a few encounters with some lame American women entitles him to hate all American women????? I have a lot of negative experiences with all different kinds of people, and based on that sort of thinking, I should hate everyone, lol, but I don't. I don't hate them at all, I just disregard those idiot souls and move on, without holding others responsible for the actions of a few. If you truly meant what you said in the way I describe, you really need to sit back and reconsider propogating hate.

I'm prettyy sure if I knew the question that he answered I, as a woman and an American one at that, would be offended. I honestly wouldn't give this guy the time of day. There are people out there that are so closed minded that they will never change and probably will never be happy.

It takes alot to offend me, and truly, I think that many people on this forum need to get a little tougher skinned. (Nothing personal, or directed at anyone specifically...)
Whenever positions like this are presented, I simply consider the source. I realize that the responses are from one individual, and I refuse to hold all men responsible for the rantings of one. I don't believe that this is indicative of the views of many, and leave it at that. And frankly, when I consider what kind of existence they must endure, with this kind of attitude, I am simply grateful for having a happier and more open mind.

Feel sorry for him - he doesn't know what love, happiness, or warmth are.
However, remember that he votes. His opinion is just as valid as yours, and your worlds aren't meant to exist together. It's a culture thing - yours is newer, his is dying. People who are dying tend to be more... vibrant about how their life is, and tend to want to change others in a misguided attempt to stop dying. He may be young, but I wouldn't gamble on it. He may be obtuse, but he knows how to get on the internet and state an opinion. He may be dying, but if you involve yourself with him cyclically, he can make part of you die, too.
That's the only power he has left, and if all you can do is ONE thing, you tend to be effective at it.

Well..well...how sad this guy is...and lonely too, I'll bet!
I have always been taught to never judge someone on the color of their skin, their culture, gender or parents...you get to choose NONE of those...each person is an individual and you should base your opinions on your personal experience with that particular person....not lump an entire society into one big "pot"...Based on what I've read here...I would say that this is a sad, sad person..and I hope he lives somewhere other than the US...and NEVER comes here...or needs my country in times of trouble...he is, IMHO, a jerk...

Yes i am pissed off .This person dont know most of the ladys from the usa.I watch t.v. but i am smart enough not to live by it.Not all woman are the same.I sure as hell dont want or feel the need to act like a man.I think he needs to be with woman from his own counrty if he feels this way.Yes i am a proud lady from the usa.I think he needs to get a grip!!!!

I'm not offended by it cause this is just one sad little man who obviously can't get an american girlfriend so he thinks they are horrible and thinks a foreign woman would like him.
I know all men aren't this mean, there are good ones =)
