Is it the stay-at-home mother who raises her child to be an upstanding citizen and takes care of her home, or the woman who breaks the glass ceiling and manages to become a high-powered executive?

She still has the tendency to see the world in black and white, moving from idealization to wanting to leave the planet. She has learned not jump impulsively into relationships, but slipped into a short fling ab. two months ago. She never rages or acts out against other people. She is more likely to go inside her cave. I hate when she does that, but she always comes back out into the light. She is often the life of the party and is highly functional at work. But intimate or dating relationships drive her batty--too inconsistent. (Truthfully, I often feel the same way.) She winds up feeling abandoned, and she is highly sensitive. She picks up on the slightest little nuance of any guy's beh., and, spooky, she is often right. She can spot a player or a cheater a mile away, and then she kicks the guy to the curb and goes back into her dark place. Is there any hope for her? She says she wants an ltr, but as great as she is, I wonder...What would you say to her? How can I help?

Or something like ADD...
If you space out often and can't concentrate? It happens so often and you feel like there is always something on the back of your mind running around...and sometimes you go to think of it when i am in the middle of something more important.
It just happens to me so much! Does it have to do with my concentration?...I have been spacing out often since as long as I can remember...usually daydreaming in school or thinking about something totally unrelated to what I am doing...causing me to do bad or make a mistake..
What exactly is this?..

(hope this is the right category!)

3yr relationship, my 1st love, meant everything to me cos other things in my life weren't making me happy. But she often left me feeling frustrated and unloved. Brokeup Jun06 as we both graduated. She moved away, I stayed put & got on with life, forgetting about her until xmas when we got back in touch. She told me she was still 'so in love with me' and my heart melted. We met up, decided that getting back together wouldn't work. Very soon after she got together with someone I knew, this came as a huge shock. A couple of months later I decided on a career change and moved back to my home town. Since then I have had alot of time on my hands. I have been regularly dreaming about her, we're in the present/near future & we're getting back together & I feel happy on the surface but a sense of dread on the inside as I am lured back into the unhealthy relationship that we shared. I don't know what to do to resolve the issue. I am desperate to move on and forget her. I don't want her back.

Considering the top 400 wealthiest people are billionaires and another 82, who did not make the list, are also billionaires, how do u feel about them being so rich and u being on a budget?

Is the great economic divide becoming greater, with the rich getting richer and the middle class getting poorer?

Are u on a tight budget and what amenities in life have u done without in recent times...vacation, traveling plans, parties, ball games, less time off from earning a living (working 2-3 jobs), etc...?

Ur thoughts on the "great economic divide".

Example 1: Entering a war carelessly with little forethought like Vietnam.

Example 2: After all the various damages caused by the sexual revolution such as STD epidemics, broken relationships, cheapened bonds and fatherless homes, people still act like it's the 60s.

Example 3: Despite all the environmental damage and economic damage done to the poor by urban sprawl, people still poorly plot their development and rape more trees instead of tearing down old buildings and building new ones in place.

Example 4: People complaining about a president that they chose to reelect.

I can go on and on but those are just a few random examples.

Why can it be so complicating for some people to have orgasims? What are quicker ways?

I often find it hilarious when guys say women are doing this soooo often. I dated a guy once who (I soon discovered) had some weird women issues. He once said he often worried a girl would do this to him. It made me laugh- he made about 12 grand a year delivering pizzas. I tried to explain to him that any child support I could legally get from him would barely put a dent in my new baby expenses, let alone give me a dime to spend on myself.

Seems to me the guy would have to be pretty rich for a girl to actually "live off of" the child support. So why do so many men here seem to think that this is such a common tactic?

They say the average child support payment in the US is $250 a month. Seems like that wouldn't go too far even in regards to expenses for the child.

If during a dream, someone leaves a message stating " you cant keep running". Does that mean you are running from something ( as in a truth or responsibility you wont face) or does it mean that you are being stalked ( you being innocent and the person after you meaning to do you harm)? At no part of the dream have you commited any bad deed, just regular stuff, and then suddenly the sign. any ideas?

She probably was one. I've been yelled at by crude slob bosses. I spent a summer in the hospital with a paint gun accident, almost cut my arm off with a chainsaw, and got electricuted and has a near death experience. Got $3K for the last thing. How do you get 11 million for being called a witch with a B?

Dreaming of a snake in shallow city water on the street, that
turned into a dog when pulled from the water, and then had
it's mouth tied with a white ribbon, and I was standing on the
side looking on to this waiting to board a Bus, to continue
on my way, but the Bus sped away, and left me stranded, a
deliberate act by the driver.

Several folks have advocated letting men choose to forgo paying child support if they don't want to have a baby. I will call this, "The Right to Abandonment" law. Under this new law, what will happen in these circumstances?:

Mary is a cashier at Wal-mart and makes $7 an hour. She becomes pregnant with her casual boyfriend. He invokes his "right to abandon" and refuses to pay support. Child care costs $4 an hour. What should she do?

Beth makes $25 an hour as an accountant, and lives with her boyfriend. After she becomes pregnant, he decides he isn't ready for parenthood, and doesn't want to "share" his income of $50,000 a year. Her daughter is born with cerebral palsy and must either be cared for by a nurse at $18 an hour or Beth has to quit her job. However, she needs to keep her health insurance, and her BF refuses to add the girl to his policy, claiming he is not her parent legally.

So what should we do? Bring back welfare? Build orphanages? Ideas, anyone?
