Over the years, we all know that most manufacturing has been outsourced to other nations because the cost of labor and materials is cheaper than in the US. This in turn keeps prices of products low. The main arguement I hear is that if they were manufactured here, the good would be more expensive.

However, if they moved manufacturing back to the US, wouldn't the inscrease of jobs, and thus money that can be spent on goods keep the economy stable? More jobs, equals more people spending money?

I know of this dude who's going out with this girl who's, well I wouldn't say outwardly ugly, but she's very plain, and just, there's nothing special about her. She's just, yeah, nothing.
Anyway, this dude like really really likes her.

I think she's brainwashing him.

It is possible?

What I mean is a dollar for domestic use, and a separate dollar used by the government with our trading partners. In the latter case, a stronger dollar, backed by silver or gold.

look down on my friend? He is 42 and his girlfriend is 18 and no matter where they go people shake heads and make nasty comments, sometimes aloud! Are they jealous of their happinness? And why are they so quick to stereotype that relationship? You never see other men get irritated by this, they usually high-five him (when she is not around...) I ask becasue I am in a similar predicament (30/19) and I can already feel the weight of public disapproval... Your thoughts?

For example I don't wear miniskirts and I like longer skirts and dresses because I feel comfy in them and they are more easy to move around and sit in more naturally you know?

My bf says that I dress modest. And older friends say that I'm sweet.

I dreamt I was lying face down and was coherent. The surgeon cut the back of my head open and i was telling him that I could feel it a little , but then it was ok because it was numb . I have been under a lot of stress lately but this was very weird , It felt like I could actually feel them cutting me. Of course in a numbing way . No rude answers please

i've always been fascinated with the idea that, when i had a good healthy looking body, i coudn't get enough of showing it off to others, mainly by photography. Yet women don't feel the same way. why?

heterosexual males? If so, what does this say about how much men value women - regardless of their sexuality - as *human beings*? Why do I rarely hear women referring to gay males with such a hostile and dismissive attitude?

About a month ago at work, I had an encounter with a really self centered coworker. I was asking the manager about a job related task and because I said something wrong, this individual started laughing even though the situation was none of her business. Well, even before this incident, this coworker had been getting on my nerves for a couple of weeks because of her big mouth. One time I had asked her to help me with a job related task and she made a big deal out of it and started running her mouth to the head manager about how I couldn't do everything. the head manager then said to her in reference to me "that's not the program" meaning because I had simply asked her to help me out since I was busy, that that wasn't the program. That was the last straw for me with her. So like a week after she ran her mouth to the manager, thats when the laughing incident happened and I got sarcastic with her about it. I was very irritated by her.

I keep hearing "If you're over thirty, and you want to get married, you have to marry somebody with children !" . Would EVERYBODY make a good stepparent ? Aren't there people who shouldn't have children ? Children don't have to obey somebody's rules if they don't want to, and they don't want to . I'd have to have my rules obeyed and respected, and children aren't obedient and respectful . If Mom has a new husband, Dad has a new wife, and everybody's making rules for the children, isn't that "too many cooks in the kitchen ?" .
