2 or so nights ago, i dreamt that I ate my own right hand. Or rather - I was busy eating it - and then I realized that the situation was pretty out of hand. haha. But seriously, I was so freaked out because I realized my hand wouldn't grow back - I kind of gained control of the dream and traveled back in time where my hand was still in normal condition. I am right handed.

is this a weakness about humanity?
an example from the animal kingdom:
a critically wounded animal is deserted by the pack and outcasted by other animals because there is no way it will survive. no way back..

do you see this trait in humanity? if so whats your opinion on this behaviour displayed by your fellow man and woman?

Ive had a hard life and suffer manic psychosis with a bit of ocd on the side. The past few days have been some of the hardest days of my life and feel im at a crucial point where i feel its do or die, make or break. This is why i feel the need to think positive as much as possible and only be around positive people and rebuff anyone who wants to influence me in a negative way. Im deeply afraid because i reckon that if i think myself down to a level where i feel like a negative, bad person, others will in turn percieve me that way. So, if you know of any tactics to keep thinking positive please let me know. The person with the most ideas gets the ten points. Thanks in advance.

You ever ask a question on here, you thought was innocent, not trying to be offensive or rude.You made sure you looked it over well enough, written it the best you could. Coherent as much as possible. But some how, some way, all the answers you get are just...unwarranted! You get assaulted and made fun of. And your kind of left thinking "what did I say?" Haven't they heard of Spain? Do they think the white skin is caused by a skin disease or something *sigh*? Or do some Americans don't want to admit or are upset that their ancestors came from the same continent as the continent that invented the Spanish language (Europe). Spanish was created in Spain and brought to the Americas during the colonization days!!!!

Why do some people refuse to believe that SOME Hispanics have European ancestors?

Okay. Here it is: You know how sometimes you start thinking about something and you start daydreaming. Okay well, when you day dream, you don't see anything. So my question is, if someone is daydreaming, but their eyes are open, CAN THEY SEE? Put it this way. They are sitting right in front of a tree, and their eyes are open, but thy are daydreaming. So, can that person actually SEE at that given moment. Or would they be the equivilant of a blind person because technically they are not "seeing" what's in front of them. Really think about it. Intelligent answers please. Thanks.

in the calander of the mayans they say that 2012 december 21 is the day when the earth will end. do u belive in this. if so how do u think will it end???

This is an economics term, and I think this is the reason why people compete, because of scarce resources. If one person consumes an item, there is one less item for others to consume.

This is also another reason, why people are so reluctant to help others, and I believe that it is because of a fear that someone else may end up taking a scarce resource, instead of themselves, which can also seem like selfishness, which is not necessarily bad.

There are ways to make do with some scarce resources, like land.
However, I have read stuff that says that life is not a zero sum, but for some skeptics this is not true, and wishful thinking.
