You ever ask a question on here, you thought was innocent, not trying to be offensive or rude. You made sure you looked it over well enough, written it the best you could. Coherent as much as possible. But some how, some way, all the answers you get are just...unwarranted! You get assaulted and made fun of. And your kind of left thinking "what did I say?" And you know its not you, its you THEM. But you still feel like a fool. ANYBODY?

I understand you completely. But don't feel like a fool. There are good people on yahoo answers who have good intentions and actually want to help people. So if you don't get an answer you're looking for, post the question again. I figure that once school starts it will be "safer" to ask serious questions throughout the day and late night. Unfortunately a troll comes in many ages. So even though they verbally assault you, they still are nothing more than a troll. Trolls used to royally piss me off. But then I got to thinking and realized how pathetic their lifes must be in order for them to sit on a computer all day insulting anyone they come across. I mean, I can only imagine that they really live happy full lives with their butt glued to their computer chair. Personally they don't bother me but make me laugh anymore. We are all witnessing creativity at it's worst, and what makes it funny is they actually think they're witty. Imagine if these losers put this much effort into their lifes. But really you can't let these idiots bother you as that is their mission. Pay them no attention and don't feed into them as this question somewhat does. Expect to receive opinions froms trolls and it won't bother you as much.

I will tell you that as a women I have no other choice than to ignore loud mouthed fools as they are everywhere. I literally dressed like a bum to my sisters birthday party because she was having it at a bar (I'm not a bar type of person). I dressed this way in hopes of avoiding getting hit on. My husband laughed at me as I was walking out the door because I was wearing two different colored socks with sandels and my compfy sweat pants. We thought they'd be a good deterant. LOL, they weren't. My sister got a good laugh though. But my point is that women throughout their lifes have been and will be embarrassed by men through cat calling. Some women have been called every name in the book by men because they aren't appreciative of the attention they received. Yet amazingly we still see woman living their lives regardless of the fools around them. Well, yahoo answers is no different, keep posting your questions. There are good people out there!

A site like this will naturally attract all kinds, but overall I am impressed with the respectful answers. Plus the rating system will get someone a pretty bad rep very fast if they are always attacking people. All in all, I think the people here do a great job (and some of the others are good for comic relief!)

Yahoo Answers is HARSH!

Ever wander into the Religion and Spirituality section? There are religious fundies prowling through the section targeted everybody who posts content that is atheistic, counter-homophobic etc. with violation reports. What has Yahoo done about these kinds of abuses of the site, NOTHING. I'd actually appreciate if more people would just post outrage and hatred rather than cowardly hiding behind the report function of this site. The whole concept that this site can be effectively policed is ridiculous. Yahoo needs to either abolish the report function or at least restrict it to criminal activity.

I feel any thinking person will see the unwarranted nonsense in some of these replies for what they are.

I feel if a good question is put, and is shot down unnecessarily, it tells me more about the person doing the shooting down than the target of their nonsense.

I wouldn't worry about it. Be comfortable that you are putting good questions out there and know that enlightened minds can see through the crap answers that happen sometimes - they don't reflect on you.

Keep it up m8!

I rather have run into fantastically nasty human beings on many distinctive boards. I rather have been stubborn out for signing an digital mail in Christian Love (something of the letter contained friendly questions approximately her Wiccan faith) I rather have unexpectedly met lesbians at a sight populated greater often than not by Christian teen elderly females, and she or he became attempting to cajole those youthful females that they could grow to be lesbians. once I advised her that she could do greater advantageous at a talk board with adults she went ballistic. uncooked hate is everywhere on line greater often than not because of the fact all and sundry is prepared to assert issues on line that they does no longer have the coronary heart to assert in guy or woman.

Sometimes people online forget the person they are talking to is a real person behind the screen. I doubt many people would say things like that to someone they didn't know at all in person. Don't take it too personally - and sometimes a 100% honest response is refreshing...

I don't feel like a fool because a fool chooses to reveal him/herself to me. I laugh at them because they have no clue. Poor things. Don't take it personally because someone else chooses to have their head up their butt. I feel sorry for them because they're minds are asleep and they can't wake up. Some people are just stupid and insecure. They'll try to hurt others because they're so unhappy themselves. People who are happy and love themselves don't need to lash out at others. Don't waste your energy worrying about why they do what they do. They aren't worth it. There are too many others out here who want to play nice. Focus on them & not the whackos. K?

Are you kidding me? People CANNOT spell on here. It drives me crazy. Also, the reason people get made fun of is because they ask dumb questions.
