Honestly, and I support Hispanics 100%, I have yet to meet a single person that doesn't believe that MOST hispanics have European ancestors. Most of the people who are against immigration and hispanic culture know this is true, they just don't care. Honestly, we ALL have the same ancestors if you go far enough back. But that does not mean we have the same culture or interests now. The past has little to do with why some people hate hispanics. Racism right now does.

This is an artifact of the current education system. Anyone completing the tenth grade should know that Puerto Ricans for example have White (Spanish), black and Indian (Taino) heritages in varying proportions. Many of today's Mexicans also have Spanish heritage, along with indigenous bloodlines.
This of course should not be taken as justification in support of illegal immigration. Europeans don't come here illegally, so neither should anyone else. That's not racist, it's the law.

Because of lack of education.
Many Hispanic in their country never attended school because they were/are obligated by the parents to work and take care of the family. The only education they had/have was/is the hard labor.

because those people are not well educated. I don't know exactly what people think.....but personally i fell that there are some dumb people who have not made any effort to enrich their knowledge and if given a map will not be able to tell where is land and where is water (if the picture is b/w). I pity these people.

Their ego prevents it. the comparable applies to whites interior the US that deny they have a British ancestry. At one time human beings have been compelled to Anglicize their names. no longer particularly everyone seems to be from England. Kirk Douglas, beginning call:Issur Danielovitch Demsky , and Ritchie Valens, beginning call:Richard Steven Valenzuela, have been compelled to Anglicized their names.

That's funny because I think I've seen more mexicans that think that they are 100% native when actually a very small percent are pure bloodline native. It still doesn't matter, they lost the war.
