Yes. If you need proof, look at the same people in the tabloids over and over. They haven't given up, they haven't stopped, they "keep on keepin'on" and that includes making the same mistakes over and over just like non-celebs, but they keep trying and think that they will eventually make better decisions - they have faith in themselves, even when the rest of the world knows every time they F up, they haven't given in to living under a rock. Learn from the mistakes of others!

yes and no - people deal with things differently. I have heard people making a dilemma out of nothing and thinking that life is so bad, when the same thing happened to me and you think nothing of it. Probably has something to do with positive thinking and thinking that there is always someone worse off than you. Life is for living - grab it with both hands and dont dwell in the past! It really works to think like that.

Yes, I strongly believe that if you send out positive thoughts then you will receive positive things back in your life and the opposite when negative thoughts are sent out. There is a concept called 'Universal mind' - our consciousness is all linked. Thoughts are positive living things and very powerful. This is why there is no such thing called coincidence. Everything happens for a reason and if, say, you are thinking of someone and they contact you that is not coincidence but your thoughts connecting.

Of course. Your life is the way you percieve it to be. If you think to yourself, " one in six people in the world don't have access to clean, drinkable, water...I am so lucky!" , then you will percieve yourself as being lucky and fortunate. It all depends on your perspective. Which is why the power of positive thinking works. Will it change your current circumstances? Maybe not. It just changes how you see your circumstance.

If you really apply it then 'Yes'

Check out Books by Anthony Robbins and 'The Power of Positive Thinking' and 'The power of Positive Living' by Norman Vincent Peale. I have found these books helpful when I have applied their principles to my life.

I heard Oprah Winfrey talking once about the law of attraction and I think she put it well when she said that she believes it works, but she also believes that it is one of many laws always at play. IMO, one example might be if you're consciously positively thinking about something that you might be unconsciously afraid of or not ready for in which case, I think what you end up drawing into your life might reflect that tension. Just my thoughts.

Yes. One should always think positively. It gives the hope & urge 2 do better & brings success. It also boosts self-confidence. Being optimistic about life gives immense happiness & pleasure. It makes us forget unpleasant memories.

ABSOLUTELY.
I used to be very very shy, and was jealous of all 'normal' people.
As I gained in self confidence through positive thinking I saw how little self confidence these people I had been jealous of, actually had.
If everyone thought positively no one would ever be depressed.
