When I was about 3 or 4 years old, I hit my head REALY hard and had to go to the ER...I kept throwing up and had suffered from a mild concution. After the head injury, I would throw fits over the smallest things, and then be in time-out, and after I'd run to my daddy and say " daddy I couldn't help it, I tried really hard to stop, but my body wouldn't stop, I just couldnt do it"

Now that I am older, I can handle things differently, but sometimes do throw fits (in my room alone) and can't stop.

Is there types of brain damage? are theese actions caused by braindamage??

If everything was free would you go to work so others could have things? Why should the poor go without because they find it harder to earn money? Dont the people who can have the responsibilty to provide for those who cant. Why do we covet what we earn and expect others to be able to do the same?

I don't get why women ignore traditional roles, become highly powerful, independent, educated and finanically successful and then complain that they can't find a good man or a man "up to that standard" because men are intimidated by successful women...or they don't messure up to the same level of success.

Just because women have started outshining men that doesn't change the fact that most men want a women who is below them in one way or another. This is something that will never change... Men are not going to change what they like just because women no longer want to be in the roles men have always found attractive. Men are not intimidated by powerful or successful women.. just turned off and not interested. No decent man wants to be with an Alpha woman. Don't believe me? How many men are pounding down the door to date Oprah? Then ask who whats to date Eva Logoria.

You women know what your getting into every step of the way, so why act surprised when men look the other way?

Everywhere I look I see religion, and it makes me mad! I'm the only atheist in my family, and they're always trying to make me go to church and stuff, and no one gets my point. I keep telling them how religion isn't true, and that it's an explanation of things that when religion was created, we did not know. The thing is that we know that stuff now (except what happens after death), so people don't need to be as serious about it all! People were mad at my school because they taught Darwin's Theory of Evolution rather than creationism. It's so stupid, People can believe what they want they want, but to judge religion over science, is a very stupid argument. Yet right on the dollar bill, "In God We Trust". I just don't see why it has to be so advertised and shoved down people's thoughts. So my question is: Why do people take it so seriously?

When we start out in life, we have our visions, our goals, sometimes they work out sometimes they don't,
Through various events , I am a thousand miles from where I expected to be at this point in my life.

For some reason, I just can't smile unless something truly touches my heart to cause me to smile (if that makes any sense). Sometimes I'm just content but I don't smile, people think I'm really sad. I'll admit, I'm not really a happy person, I'm a quite and shy type of person. And when people don't know me at first they think I am the hostile type of person. But later when they get to know me more, they tell me, "I thought you were a mean or hostile person at first, but after I got to know you, I realized you are so nice and innocent". People misintrepret the real me, because I don't smile. I'm really sorry, but I just can't smile when there is nothing to smile about. A lot of people, including teachers tell me to smile or ask me whats wrong. And sometimes when I do occasionally smile for whatever reason, they say to me, its so nice when I smile. So, my question to all of you is, how can I be a more "smiley" person, and what do YOU smile about?

In the "olden" days children would be punished for speaking out against their parents/teachers. People didn`t play video games but instead spent time with their families. Many other changes have occured...these are just a few.
Why have our expectations lowered so dramatically? Why have we become ruder, lazier, and more sedentary? Why don`t we appreciate the goodness of what life used to be? You see it in the media and how people live their lives. I already know that advancing technology is a factor. What else could it be? Is there an underlying principle that makes humans less interested and productive as time wears on?

It was a nightmare, and it was lucid. I lying in bed in my dream and this figure clad in black was pulling on my arm trying to pull me out of bed. I felt I would die if this thing got me. All the while, i knew i was dreaming and i felt I had to wake myself up before I died. i was making muffled screams. then out of no where, I glanced at my cell phone and a number came up. After i managed to wake myself up, I programmed the number i saw into my phone. I do not know it, but it is operable and it belongs to a woman whom I do not know. WHAT do you make of this dream? Is this number one I should know, OR will know in the future? Plz help I am worried+confused, etc.

I am 13 years old, and going to high school next year as a freshman. My life is going good...but this summer, especially these few weeks, are going relatively bad. I can't fall asleep at night because my mind is always racing with thoughts and I can't seem to clear it and relax and fall asleep. Every day, I have to cry about something, whether it's because my haircut looks horrible, or because I feel as though I'm wasting my time doing nothing. I know I'm supposed to relax this summer, but I can't! I feel as though every day is going by wasted, and I also feel stressed about everything, including my haircut and how I'm starting a new school this fall. What should I do? I feel like my whole life is just falling apart!

Hello,

I work in a welfare to work program. Sometimes I get chewed out by these participants and I really get angry too because it's not like I don't care about them. But after one encounter, I thought I can be more patient. The people I typically get angry with the most are those who you can't communicate with because they're very unwilling to listen to any kind of reason and even after explaining they want to talk to someone else. It was like whatever I was saying did not get through to her one bit and I got real frustrated. Any tips?
