It was a nightmare, and it was lucid. I lying in bed in my dream and this figure clad in black was pulling on my arm trying to pull me out of bed. I felt I would die if this thing got me. All the while, i knew i was dreaming and i felt I had to wake myself up before I died. i was making muffled screams. then out of no where, I glanced at my cell phone and a number came up. After i managed to wake myself up, I programmed the number i saw into my phone. I do not know it, but it is operable and it belongs to a woman whom I do not know. WHAT do you make of this dream? Is this number one I should know, OR will know in the future? Plz help I am worried+confused, etc.

I have had similar dreams of something pulling on me, always trying to take me.

could this be about something that happened in the past but I am unaware of on a conscious level?

it could be your subconcious trying to tell you something, ive had alot of dreams that came true but i never worried about them, just dont worry about it, it might mean something it might not, it might just be a nightmare that your thinking too much about so you keep dreaming about it

Most of the time a particular dream has no particular meaning -just your mind trying to work out things that you may be subconsciously worried about or some strange TV movie or pizza before bed ---pizza at night will do it for me every time !It's OK
you are OK -we can have dreams and not realize that we are still asleep or that we are half awake. I have heard so many "oldsters" tell me they didn't sleep a wink ,when I was sitting there watching them.
Dreams can sometimes be alarmingly real !

My initial thought is that you have this dream when you feel torn in different directions, likely different loyalties to friends or family. Do you have any relationships that you are stuck in the middle of? Also the phone could be that you wanted help. as far as the number, people have numbers, the fact that it was real is not unlikely.
