Is "White" America's and Australia's national race?
Why are asians and blacks always perceived as immigrants, no matter how old they've been citizens?
It's just a personal obesrvation. I don't know if I'm making myself clear. My point is, when you look at a white American man, you don't question his ancestry . But when you look at a an asian, you feel he's a recent immigrant, and not an authentic citizen.
I saw many brochures advertising for the United States, and most of them showed white cowboy men and blonde girls.
Why are only european immigrants perceived as the authentic citizens, while non-whites are viewed as foreigners. For instance, when you think Australians, you think white anglo-saxon men, although Australia is, too, a country of immigrants.
Why is "white" the national race?

There are evolutionary psychologists who propose that rape is hardwired into the male brain and all men are biologically programmed to do so if there are no social consequences or punishment. What do you guys think about this theory?

Hi. I've been working with my self-esteem, I really have it low.
But I have found it difficult. Everytime I focus on this, I really get depressed and feel worse.

I read a book that says that one first needs to understand the whys of low-self esteem.... but everytime I do this i just feel totally worse, confused, and so on...

should I just move on, forget all this, try to improve my self esteem without really knowing the "whys" of it. Should I just start using the techniques to improve it without really thinking so much about it and without trying to understand the whys, and the stuff in my past?

I'm shocked. I just heard that someone thinks I'm very arrogant and disrespectful. Although I think I am not. In fact, I have average to low self-esteem. On the other hand, some people think I'm very unassertive.
I hate it when people judge me unfairly. It's causing me troubles in life, especially at job interviews. Is the problem in me, or in people?

I see some folks blaming hardcore feminism and lots of other things, but rarely is the increased greediness of large employers since the 70s mentioned as a major cause. I know some (not me) blame feminism in part for how corporate America does things, but it's only part.
The stress, the unpaid overtime, the lack of benefits, the lack of job security, the commutes, the soul-sucking environments that really don't allow for a lack of sleep from a newborn baby. Shouldn't this be kept in mind when thinking about the causes of the breakdown of the family and strain on romantic relationships?

Last night, or somewhere in my sleep cycle, I had a dream that i was being attacked by two huge birds. They appeared to be of relation to pigeons. As I was walking pass, the first bird swooped low over my head, as I ducked the second one swooped in. Then they both started circling over me as I looked in amazement! Then a little later in the dream, I was walking into a store where a little bee was bent on trying to sting me...Now I know the story of "The Birds & The Bees", but I don't think this is in anyway similar. So please tell me what on earth this means!?
