I have heard several reasons about why people come here to Yahoo Answers to answer other people's questions.
But what I really want to know is why you ask questions on here? And especially regarding those who ask personal questions, what motivates you to put yourself out there like that? Thanks ^-^

I had a dream last night that I was at a picnic with a bunch of people. I only remember two people in the dream. One is my friend (that I like) and the other is his girlfriend. The weird thing was they sat near each other but did not talk at all. What on earth does this mean?

Lately ive been feeling lonely. Ive felt this way before while i was single for a long time. Then I met a girl and thought that I was in love.........but Im not sure if it was love really. Think maybe it was just infatuation or soemthing like that. Anyway we went out for a few months but then we broke up. Before i met her i felt lonely, like there was something missing in my life. I thought having someone special would take that feeling away. But it didnt. I mean it did help some, kinda pappered over the cracks I think, however I still felt a bit empty. When we broke up I was kinda relieved because it was a very stressful relationship and so for a while I was fine. But now a few months later that feeling of loneliness has returned and im thinking id like a girlfriend as i pretty much feel all alone in life.Only this time im not so sure that thats whats really going on. Maybe that feeling is something inside me telling me that im not making the most out of my life? what do you think?

I tend to act the way others may perceive me...so sometimes if I get flustered, it's hard for me to concentrate and do well on certain tasks. Any tips on keeping your head in the game?

I'm left handed and when I was looking for a guitar, there were very few in the shop (the only one there was very expensive) and I had to get it from a catalogue. Also there are a lot more right handed guitars which are cheaper than left handed ones. There are also more right handed scissors than left handed ones so WHY DO LEFT HANDED PEOPLE APPEAR TO BE SO RARE

we all have heard stories and stereotypes about the rich... having it all materially, and yet morally or spiritually bankrupt. seems like it goes with the territory, or does it?

being rich certainly changes people, but does it necessarily have to be for the worse?

i just wonder what being rich does to oneself. i'm sure it changes people's perspectives. And i'm not sure whether it is humanly possible not to think of oneself as being "higher" or "better" than the rest of the crowd.

do you know any wealthy people who seem to defy stereotypes and are actually down to earth nice folks?

Okay this is a really weird situation I'm in, but I'd like some people's opinions so I will explain. And no I am not crazy.
Ever since I was about 8 I've had this reoccuring dream, well it's not the exact same dream, but all my dreams have been based in this one town. Like every single dream. I will be doing different things in each dream, but it's all in this same mysterious place. Anyway, I moved over to the UK from NZ about a year ago, and I was just watching some travel vids on the UK to get an idea of what I'm getting myself into and there were little video snippets of pretty places, and come hum come ho there was the place in my dreams! It said it was in Cornwall, but didn't say specifically where. Now after a lot of research I have found this 'dream' place, but the problem is I'm only in the UK for another month before my visa expires and I'm going home, and funds are really, REALLY tight at the moment. Do you think I should go see this place, or just give it a miss?

I have a client who is 16. she will be 17 in a few months. She is currently living with relatives because of behavioral problems at home. It was not done through the courts. The relatves feel stressed because the parents have not given them any money and the mother calls daily to question everything they do. Now they want to return him because they are now having marital problems. They believe it is safe. I do not. There is years and years of physical and emotional abuse. She is scared to go back. She has asked if she could live with me. I would take her in a heart beat. She deserves a loving home without the stress of feeling that she's not wanted.
