Orange County Mental Health is part of the Human Resources Department. Give them a call and they will see you for free. Also, if you are having a psychotic episode and somehow recognize you need help, go to the nearest emergency room and ask for help. Finally, consider contacting your local church. Often a pastor or priest can deal with basic psychological and spiritual needs and if you need deeper treatment they can refer you to someone. Best wishes.

Try calling a suicide hot-line, after you get the answering machine and wait a half hour to get connected to someone ask. Little irony there. Are you sure you want others messing around with the screws that are loose in your head? That is your brain your talking about. Well I'm sure a suicide hot-line in your area could turn you towards the right direction, if that's what you believe is in your best interest. : )

There are books on psychological problems, the library is a great place and the librarian is the person who can help you find them. I went though three years of doctor's care and found in the end I was telling then what they wanted to know, not what I really felt.

Contact the local community mental health. They usually see people who don't have insurance and don't have the ability to pay.
