Hi, I have always known that I'm a little different, but after a friend suggested that I might have Asperger Syndrome I decided to do a little research on my own. For the most part I'm pretty normal as
far as normal everyday things. But I do seem to have almost all of the traits associated with A.S. As it stands I don't truely know if I have A.S. however I took two online quizzes for people who suspicion that they have A.S. and both said that I am "most likely an aspie" and I'm O.K. with this because It finally gives me an answer to why I am the way I am. To make a long story short I'm just looking to find some information, and hoping to find others who have A.S or wonder if they do like me........Thanks

when and how?

My mother is a very odd person. When I have difficulty she likes to laugh at me, and try to frustrate me. She also enjoys trying to make me nervous and has always tried to limit my growth. For example, when I was in the hospital after the birth of my child she knew I was scared about my legs because they hurt so much so she told me I better run because I would die from a blood clot. I had a panic attack because of this. She also says horrible things about me, like when I had a hymenectomy she told my sisters I aborted a child. I was a virgin so this did not happen. She also used to slap me in the face when I was a teen and tell me that I would go to hell for looking at some boy, which I did not do, at least not around her. So strange considering I have only been with one person, my husband. What is wrong with her?.

Hollywood seems to project violent solutions to serious problems. I am not sure that children know that Hollywood is entertainment, and seeing how violence has grown in our world today, I am not sure what people really think about violent solutions to situations like having to deal with bullies. What do you think?

Are women better breadwinners than men?

2007-03-01 06:30:47 · 12 answers · asked by Specialist McKay 4 in Gender Studies

There are women who certainly can meet the physical demands of being police officer, and I know some excelent women police officers.

But there are too many women cops. Why? Because they have to meet much less stringent physical demands than men. For instance, when I took the CPD test, women only had to bench 40% of their body weight, while men had to bench 60% of their body weight. Men had to run the mile in one less minute than women.

There should be women cops. Even hypothetically, if no women was as strong as a guy (which is obviously false), you need women cops who can deal better with women criminals and women victims.

However, biology dictates that men will always be generally stronger than women. And since physical strength is a part of being a cop, there should be more guy cops than women cops.

We cannot allow women to have easier standards simply so there are equal number of men and women cops.
This is ridiculous

I sometimes have a dream of the future in my own life, e.g. looking at a particular thing and the mood and light levels were the same as in my dream, or im talking to a friend, i just want to know if this means anything and if others also have the same kinda dreams and if u would like to share it.
i once dreamt that police is going to come and arrest me for something that im perfectly innocent about, which has ruined my life, (im not a hoodie, i hate them) and i remember a 'screenshot' of that same moment when i looked at the ground while the police officer was telling me to do this and that.
is there also any links to sites which is based on dreaming on the future and things like this?
thanks

And please dont say more buyers than sellers. I am wanting to know about what "information" led to this?

Also , how come there are always these reports or who said what or "something happening" that changes things?

Are these really viable?

In the nature, we witness that almost always, the males are to chase the females for sex. Is it un-natural? Definitely, not. Because, when the female become fertile, they excite the males for sex by their activities and secreting feromon from their body. But the strange is that when a male goes to respond to that excitation, the exciting female exhibits as she is not willing for the action and tries to escape from the excited male! And at the end, it appears that the male did sex with the female by force (rape)! Is that a natural system for the survival?

If it is the natural system, then why chasing a woman by a man for sex would be a crime in human society? Is it that the men chase the women for forceful sex? Women don't have any role for this chase?

I have a dream about once a month, that is always in the same location. Its an area of land, with a highway goign through. The highway has a pulloff so you can walk up to this hike, which is all rocky and sandy. If you go further up the trail, you come to this rock formation. If you venture around the formation for awhile, you find a hole. Inside this hole in the rocks is a lagoon type place.
If you continued up the trail, you end up going into the mountains. Theres a little community up there and if you look down from the mountain you can see your car and the lagoon area.

*So, the reason I know all this is from seperate dreams. And once, when I was on top of the mountain I was with someone, I pointed down and said "See down there? Inside that rock formation is a lagoon..." but the lagoon wasnt a part of this dream. Its like this place is comlpetely built up and exsists in my mind and I 'visit' it once a month.
Whats the cause or meaning of recurring dreams?
