I feel lathargic and horrible, i feel like i'm touching death. I have sinned( I went off with another guy I didnt even like argh) at a party in which a guy I have feelings for was there. It's not the sort of thing I would do. How can I get my self respect back? Do I tell the guy how I feel? I feel this horrible feeling like my heart has been hardened? have you ever felt this way before? how do you get your innocence back? Do you make love happen? what do you do?? I don't want to regret my inactions.

I'm so freakin' sick of people. Day to day life is something I don't want to wake up to. School sucks, my job sucks- I'm bored at my house, and my friends are cool.. but it's like.. I hang out with them, but it's not something that I look forward to. I think that friends should be people that you look forward to.
Sometimes I wonder if I jump from romantic relationship to relationship to keep from being bored. Anybody got an opinion about how to enjoy life without another person, or if not- then just what to do? Is it wrong that I really like having a girlfriend? Is it okay that it bothers me when I don't? Etc, etc.
Oh man- I hate emo kids. I especially hate that I can act like one sometimes, lol.
Thanks for reading, and thanks again if you respond!

I have allways been XXXXtremly easy to startle.
Like this:
I am on an elevator and the doors open up and if someone is standing there, I scream.
If someone comes up from behind and says something, when I am not expecting anything, I scream.
When I am a passenger in a car I am Constantly jumping and freaking out, to the point of crying. I keep thinking that we are going to crash.
Once in the summer time, while I was a passenger in a car, we drove over a brige that had a sign that read " watch out for ice on bridge" and I about had a heart attack.
If I have a bad dream I wake up crying.
It is instinctive and primal. I am usually the type of person that is not afraid. Like I will not lock my door if I am home etc.

The condensed version of the story... Father walked away when I was born. Didn't want a child, understandable for a young single man I guess. Refused to acknowledge me or my mother.... until I was 23. Suddenly I get a random letter... a couple emotionless emails... then nothing again for the last year or two!!

Can you ever forgive them? Can you learn to love them as a person when you associate them with pain for you and your mom? Does the feeling of rejection and abandonment ever go away?

Serious answer only please.

What if scientists were able to prove that genetic defects at birth leave a child open to brain development that is prone to criminal behavior, such as "kleptos", "abusive people" "rapists" "serial killers." If that was the case, wouldn't it be seen more as a disease then a crime, and if these people get "cured" through genetic therapy, should they be held as accountable for something they had no control over just as much as someone who ended up with cancer? I know nobody wants to think this way, but I feel as we advance further in science, we will soon realize that old ideas of things painted in black and white. good and evil are outdated and its really nature and nurture that sets the tone.

Men: What do you think is the worst thing about the way most guys act?

Women: What do you think is the worst thing about the way most gals act?

Usually it's one side or the other harping on the other, so let's have a bit of honesty about ourselves this time. I'm a man, and I would say that a lot of guys just aren't sensitive enough to a gal's concerns. Most guys also don't take enough responsibility on themselves in a relationship. We also tend to make bodily noises more often then they do -- I guess that's a cultural thing. Oh, I know we often aren't forgiving enough when they're in their period (whether we know it or not), because we really don't have a clue about that. We get irritated too easily because they're emotional instead of logical like us, when that's what makes us who we are.

It seems that I see alot of people claiming that they have depression and asking about medications or been given advice about medication. Is better living through chemistry always the cure?

Interesting question came to me while reading people threatening to rend that persons spleen from his body with blunt implements. As a male drive, I've been told, to my face, that my rates are higher than that of a female driver in my same position due to statistical data stating that man are more likely to cause/be involved in accidents due to negligence.

Now, the question; If they had done the same to a female driver, how fast would they get sued for discrimination? Consider if they did this in a bank; If you wanted to open a bank account, as a female, but they apply the restriction that you have to carry a minimum balance as it is statistically proven (I'm making this up, its not true) that women bounce more cheques then males.

Moreover, does this not imply that men have gotten so use to being undercut that we don't care enough to put up a fight when something is obviously discrimatory? Or is it frowned upon for us to make waves/gripe about not getting what we want?

This week, two Supreme Court justices testified before a House subcommittee and specifically argued that Congress should not get in the Court's business regarding the televising of Court proceedings. While the Justices justified their resistance to televising the Court with fancy and lofty words such as "deference" and "etiquette," the real reason may be the difference between the Court and more popular jurists, such as Judge Judy. what do yous think ?
