I have been feeling kind of down lately, and 2 things happened to make me smile. Just wanted to know something that has brightened up someone else's day.

So what were the 2 things made you smile?
Two things that made me smile today were:
-I overheard a conversation in which a kid was getting a lecture from his friend about smoking and he said "don't start with me, I know alot of people who died who never smoked".
-A friend told me I looked good in my new pants.
The first one just really hit me as funny. The second one made me smile because I love compliments. Hope you cheer up soon. At night I try to list 3 things in my calender that I am thankful for sometimes it cheers me up to look back over the little things that have made me happy.

When I was at the doctor's there was an absolutely sweet tiny wee baby of 5 months who decided to gift me with a lot of toothless smiles. She was just darling.
When I went to the local drugstore to get my Mom a prescription I thought I would buy a chocolate bar. I was addicted to chocolate for a long time and used to never walk out of there without a few bars. I have lost interest in chocolate and could not find one I could be bothered to eat. THAT was very nice and I smiled a lot to realize I am now past that problem.
It is brilliant and sunny despite the cold.
I dreamt of my most beloved husband last night and awoke feeling he was with me.
Odd you should ask this question because when I was down, that man taught me a good exercise to banish the deeper blues (not clinical depression of course). He advised that I strive to develop gratitude for life.
He told me to think of 20 things before sleeping that were good that day. Some times were harder than others of course. He said, make it easy. You breathe. You don't need orthotics! You got the job. You had a break through insight. It did not matter. Just be grateful for it and it would lead to a deeper spiritual satisfaction over time.
He was right. It works.

in basic terms so i don't spoil my superb answer as that's meant purely for people who can comprehend my magic. I did discover it off however the interest ensnare mandatory to be there so I figured i'll substitute it because of the fact it did not sound good on the tip of the final line. What makes me smile today? When I finally got my car moving out of +15 inches of snow and when I had to do it all over again 6 hours later.

well, i had a long day at work, and my husband showed up at my work to take me out to lunch. so holding his hand and laying my head on his shoulder always makes me feel better. and he always makes me laugh. then another thing that made me smile, is when i came home to my 9 month old daughter and she gave me that 4 tooth grin and screamed "MA-MA!" and then rocking her to sleep at night reading good-night moon, just to look down and shes asleep on my chest........priceless

Seeing my daughter play and interact with her great grandparents. My grandparents are in their mid 80's and my daughter is 3.

found some great porn on the net...other than that I had a crappy day...I went to court...not porn related...and I am going to trail in may...I might lose..its criminal..2 felony charges..I am so sick of the so called justice system its a joke...I hope you feel better..and the porn was of a mature woman...she was hot...
