There are so many, that anthropologist, Donald E. Brown made a rather extensive list of them. For example; things such as " age grades ", " age statuses " and " age terms ", are on the list.

At least three features are common to every known culture:

1) Some form of marriage is recognized
2) Some idea of acceptable vs. unacceptable killing is defined
3) There is always some kind of death ritual

There isn't one. Everyone has a different background, opinion, family life, feelings, appearance, etc, so how can there be a norm?
