My bf at the time confided in me that he wanted to commit suicide and has thought this out, he didnt want to be here anymore and did not want to live anymore. I told him he needed professional help and you would even go as far as to make an appt w/ a doctor and go with him. But he declined and only wanted to confide in me. I felt he was genuine and tried to help him. He would tell me every other day that he was going ot go thru with it. Around when he would plan it. Sometimes he would feel so badly, he would hang up the phone and not answer when I called back, made me panick and have anziety attacks. He told me he purchased cianide over the internet. Well, after I helped him and talked him through his "depression", he left me to be with someone else. He was so cold and hurtful to me, how does SOMEONE do this??? Becuase if his behavior, I had to seek a therapist, because I didnt know people like this existed. He seemed like he desperatly needed my help, and now walks around like he was

you got caught in several shameful lies. And they were exposed to someone you once cared for deeply and not only to that person but to that person't family and friends? Do you think people's lies eventutally catch up with them and make things much worst? Do you think someone such as t his person will have lerned his lesson and also, do you think he will evenutally come clean and apologize for it, because right now he is avoiding those that he hurt the most.

I mean, I had this hunch about something that kinda went against what appeared to be the case logically, but then I figured that I just wanted to believe that was the case so I reasoned things out and now I feel different about it, the feelings I have from thinking things through are now WAAYY dominant.

Any ideas as to how I can identify the true intuition here? Any techniques?

What is "weird shy"?
there was this guy who i was sort into, and my friend knew him better than i did. He didn't say all that much and i asked her if he was shy she's like, "he's shy in a weird way" and she said that he is weird. when i asked her to elaborate she said that he doesn't say much, and when he does, it is kind of weird or not normal. I continued to ask and she said he is weird around girls and she didn't MIND hanging out with him (he was a friend of her best friend) but he's not someone she'd choose to hang out with. I honestly think she is holding back because she knows I like him but i just wanted to find out if he was like that around ME or if that's just how he is.
Around me he...
seems kind of sullen
kind of expressionless
monotone
seems nervous, but has said that he does NOT like me more than a friend.
is very flirtatous to me sometimes but COLD other times
I have lost interest in him romantically, but I was still CURIOUS bout his behavior and want to not tak

My b/f has a very strange viewpoint regarding physical attraction...it's so weird that I'm having a hard time believing that he's telling the truth.

First off, I consider myself generally attractive (not ugly) but I am overweight (considerably, but not huge by any means). Now as his g/f (we've known eachother for 3 years) I find it odd that he's never commented on my looks in any way, shape or form. Also as his g/f, I want to know that he finds me physically desireable (what woman wouldn't want that?). When I ask him if he's attracted to me, he tells me what we ALL think of as an answer to an ugly person who's asking the question..."I'm attracted to who you are, not what you look like." or "It's what's on the inside that I love." I then tell him that, that's the universal answer to someone who is truly ugly on the outside so as to not hurt their feelings. *I'm going to write more details below as I'm running out of space. Please don't answer until details are filled in...thanks...

When I go to the grocery store, I see that food has become extremely expensive, especially if you want to buy healthy food such as fresh fruits and vegetables.

However, I have been looking for a Part-Time job while I'm in school and I have found that the average pay is about the same as it was 8 years ago. They still hire people and want to pay $8-10 an hour for administrative assistant jobs. They offered the exact same pay in 1998 when I first looked for my first job. In fact, my first job I got paid $8 an hour.

What kind of economy is this where the prices keep going up for everything but the average pay for most people hasn't moved??
