No - and I hope I never do! It's not the end of the world - just the end of that college choice. Sometimes we get caught up in something and it means so much to us that we allow it to become 'larger than life' and define us in ways that aren't all that important in the bigger picture.

Whenever someone is rejected from ANYTHING, they may feel very depressed for the moment, but IT WILL PASS! There are many other things that are SO much more important than not getting accepted to something. Sometimes we are rejected and it's not even for a reason to do with us personally. It could be some technicality.

If someone were to consider suicide over being rejected, I would tell them that they should make a list of all the GOOD things about their life, and how they are far more important than one rejection! Getting that perspective is very important to do, when you are down.

Tomorrow will be a better day, with new ideas and new opportunities! Let it come!

No, but I did know someone that committed suicide--- and trust me, it's very tough for those that were around that individual, even years later.

As far as the college of your choice, don't sweat that stuff--- I wasn't accepted by the college of my choice for undergrad-- went to another school.. LOVED IT! Met my future man there, went on to grad-school... Looking back, I'm glad I didn't end up at another school... I believe somethings in life are kinda planned out and the rest is just how you make it. Try another college, you can always transfer later on or go to the "college of your choice" for a higher degree. Best of Luck!

True that I got such a feeling for a while, but when really i wanted to venture suddenly a thought came to my mind that why should i die for the sake of a person who does not love me.I got the best spouse now and am happy that i did not die.Now the misery is on the other person who often comes in contact with me to tell me that the action then in dumping me off has been a tragedy and life long repentance.this is life, only if lived can be experienced pleasantly.

whoever does that is a very very sad individual. The type of person that I can see doing this, a young girl who got straight A's in school, prissy/perfect, and someone who looked down on me, haha

IDK why anyone would do that, there's many more schools to choose from.

No, but if one such person existed, I'd say that the college obviously made the correct decision.
