There is no real answer for this b/c it depends on the people involved. In general though it is easier to have traditional roles if you want a family, b/c no matter how your roles are defined only a woman get have a baby and it is a bit more difficult to have the breadwinner out of commission for awhile. That being said it is by no means an issue that can't be worked out.

The reason women can do what they want is because they have better motor-coordination skills and can multi-task on a competence level much higher than the average male.
I am not a feminist at large.
In group testing it was found that men have trouble putting things back in place, they have difficulty ironing and making breakfast at the same time (without burning the toast) - I feel if it was a world left up to women these tasks would be not only very highly prized, but people would get paid for doing them, ie making money is not everything men!!
Thank you very much

I once in my life I was a single parent of two young girls.
I cooked meals every night
I Hand scrubbed the kitchen floor every night
My home was clean
My home was tidy
Did all the laundry
The girls were well behaved and did great in school
I worked a full time job
I took classes at night (Calculus it was)
At the time, I made no bones about my opinion of a women with two ill-behaved dirty kids complaining about how her working husband didn't do enough housework or how he didn't tend to the kids enough, or how HARD it was to be a stay-at-home [I won't use the word mom because it disgraces the competent women].
People that do that are LAZY, selfish, and or incompetent. If I ever get the chance to be a stay-at-home dad my wife will never have to do ONE bit of housework when she gets home. But then again I'm not lazy or incompetent and I'm not a lazy pussy but a MAN with pride. Thank God there are a few of us left. In other words, don't let the bitches fool you.

My roomate (boy) is OCD clean. He vaccum's, does dishes, even paints the exterior of my house, & sings. My dad raised me by himself. Actually, I really don't know any women who do anything like what I've been told their supposed to do. My Best friend (girl) is VP of an Escro Corporation, and my College roomate (girl) makes over $200,000.00 USD as a General Manager for a Hotel. Hmmm you, may be on to something.

damn I fell out of my chair...........men better homemakers than women?........yeah right!......women could be better breadwinners if they had equal pay and opportunities, instead of being discriminated against because they are women. Just my opinion.

in some cases, yes.
those are the roles my husband & i are in, and it definitely works. it's hard to generalize such things though, it depends on the person/people.
