Hi friends,iam a professional college student.i have stammering which is badly affecting my life and my career

can anybody help me to find a cure for this.i would be very thankful.if possible u can tell me some experiences about urself or anybody u have heard about.

Sorry I don't have an answer but I have two very good friends with quite extreme stammers, however the ladies love them, 1 is a very successful musician and one is a dreadlocked youth worker. I think it's endearing and I know it's no basis, however I tend to trust people with stammers, I don't know why. Be a role model for others who suffer by achieving all you can, show them the way. My uncles and cousins all became fluent and rarely stuttered after following the steps in "Self Therapy for the Stutterer" by The Stuttering Foundation. Some libraries have their book or you can get it in their estore.

I attended a public speaking course with a stutterer and he was adviced to breathe, take his time and not put pressure on himself. Read these articles:

start small
practice short sentences in one breath
when you have mastered that which you will-
practice longer sentences
