have you ever been bullied? and if so, did it have any detrimental effects on you? i've been bullied for like the past 7 years and so far I've gained about 60 pounds, i've lost my vision in my right eye (due to severe and sudden weight gain), suffered with bulimia, began smoking cigarettes, and mainly, a lot of psychological trauma (insomnia, obsessing over one event, loss of relationships with people, constantly thinking of my bully, and severe depression, feelings of guilt, hopelessness, and many more). how to cure these things?

You might as well be dead. I'm learning this the hard way right now. All of the money has been made in this country, and shame on our mothers for giving birth in these circumstances. Why don't we all commit a mass suicide to show personal pride?

Would you be scared? Would you talk to yourself? Would you walk past yourself? It may be time travel. It may be a twin you never knew about. It may be an uncanny resemblance. What would you do? And this person is wearing identical clothing.

Two of the finance officers who are junior to me but are very close to the manager finance are creating problems for me. Both failed a promotion exam in which I was member of the assessment board. Both of them are above 50 and I am 30. They are always looking for opportunities to let me down. Having found no mistakes in my work they have now turned to my character. I have talked to other seniors but it seems they want to remain out of it. The tactics used by them are that they have turned my friends into my enemies by feeding them with base less things and proving that they will earn in my loss; they are constantly prompting the manager finance to report against me in matters that are often not related to me. The manager finance is a person who used to earn a lot of black money by misusing his position, it seems that I am in his way. This is going on for the last one year. I believe in the good in people and believe in helping others not to make mistakes ininstead of letting them make mistakes and later blackmailing them for their mistakes.

I know it's about control, but what in the rapist/sadist's life or upbringing would make them want to seek out power in that way?

I have some possible theories:

1. the rapist/sadist grew up with a father that was aggressive & a control freak with his family & the rapist learned that behavior since many kids pick up traits from parents

2. the rapist/sadist grew up with a domineering mother who overpowered their father; the mother was abusive & the child decided to pay back the favor against others, to prove to him/herself that their future spouse wasn't going to treat them like their mother

3. the r/s had a series of bad relationships where their partners rejected them

4. the r/s had overprotective or overbearing parents who nitpicked whatever they did & feeling the lack of control in their childhood they grew up wanting a different future, thinking that other people were going to act like their parents & not allow them freedom

Naturally, I want my girlfriend desires me sexually. I hope that the sight of my body arouses her, that she feels fortunate to have sex with me, and that she desires me often.
But our society seems to encourage the reverse happens. As a guy, I have been conditioned by society to desire females and their bodies, to appreciate them aesthetically, and to easily and often desire sex with them. My ability to appreciate sex and women has been nurtured and maximized. But females are conditioned differently. Girls learn more about resisting or even fearing sex than about appreciating it. Women grow up with messages that sex is something men desire, and that sex diminishes women, and that it is something women “give” instead of take. There is little encouragement for women to desire men. And it doesn’t help that our society focuses more on penis jokes than it does on promoting the intimacy and beauty of men’s bodies. I feel screwed over by these powerful social influences.
