i see it like this....
monday, tuesday, wednesday, thursday, friday ....... yay saturday and sunday!

Monday - the beginning of a new week like a fresh page of a book,
Tuesday - as a day on the calendar
Wednesday - as a humpback bridge as weekend is only 2 days away
Thursday - its the new Friday so i see it as Friday (and once every 4 weeks its pay day so £ signs)
Friday - well the weekend is just around the corner so i see it as an pre-extension to Saturday
Saturday - a fun fair as it is a fun filled long day
Sunday - a lazy day so see it as an arm chair

My mental picture: the wall sized white board week long calendar in our staff room. Tuesday pops out as the second block from the left. Each day is bordered by a different colour. Tuesday is yellow.

I see Tuesday- Friday as black days as I have to work and Saturday Sunday and Monday as sunny days as I get to spend them with my family.
