When I read about apologies I find that not everyone agrees on how they should be done. For example, I read that some people believe that one should not say sorry until after you have made up. But then I have read that you should not forgive someone until after they have apologized, many times by using the words "I'm sorry." These two ideas are in conflict with each other. Any thoughts.

My friends and I went to have a dinner and one friend invited someone else. This girl spent whole night talking about herself saying things like

OH I GIVE EVERYTHING TO EVERYBODY BUT NOTHING FOR ME
OH I BOUGHT TICKETS FOR A CONCERT AND INVITED A GUY BUT HE ASKED OUT TO A FRIEND...OH MONICA, OH MONICA...YOU GIVE THEM EVERYTHING AND THEY DON'T GIVE YOU ANYTHING.

You know guys, she spent time talking about herself, her job and how good she was with everybody....an angel what would you think if you were me?

I chose a difficult major of science. I like to set high goals for myself but then I am complaining about how tired and stressed out I am and how much I which to graduate, but I keep staying on the same major and I don't like anything else.

I like difficult things, but then I complain.

What do you call this?

I would like to ask the help of those who are particular with measurment tools used to study self esteem.

Why would researchers use RSES or Rosenberg Self Esteem Scale when there are other Multidementional scales available?

I will really appreciate some help.

Thanks in advance.=)

What is it? Is it some little fuzzy thing floating around in their stomachs or what?

When I'm in class and my professor makes an awkward sound or coughs or drops the chalk, I always hear a bunch of girls in class giggle.

I doesn't bother me.... I think it's cute that they giggle, but I'm just wondering what causes them to do it?

why shouldn't all the laws, regulations, entitlement and social programs, that restrict the economy, be scraped in favor of the American economy only being checked by what the Constitution says about the economy(Art 1 Sec8 clausues) (art1 sec 9 clauses)(art1 sec 10 clauses) and those results balnced in a way that does not negitivly impact our sovereignty and Independence?

Because that's basically the flawed reasoning behind the "income gap" hysteria.

For as long as I can remember, I fear balloons, and most people think of this as an irrational fear, but its weird. If I'm in the same room as a balloon, I cringe and get sweaty and I've even thrown up before. They make me EXTREMELY uncomfortable, and even talking about them makes my hands sweat. I cant stand them.. BUT ONLY THE PLASTIC KIND, not the mylar kind. Its so strange.... I cant think of a single reason in my life why I would be globophobic. Does anyone know why something like this just happens????

I don't know why but today I'm so irritable, I work with customers and I can always overlook their rudeness but today it's really getting to me. I don't know, I guess I woke up on the wrong side of the bed. What do you do to put you in a good mood when you're in a bad one? I hate to feel like this...it literally makes me miserable.

What can I do to get over the frequent feelings of self-consciousness/ anxiousness when I’m in an intimidating situation or around people…don’t get me wrong, I’m extremely social with everyone…but it’s the afterthoughts that bother me to pieces…I contemplate every single thing I may have said, every action, every single moment! I try to let go…but sometimes I get really caught up in trying to understand the true intentions of a person and that makes me really tense/ nervous around them…i hate thinking about how I’m perceived!
I guess it’s a fear of failure partly…how can I overcome these feeling and live a careless life???
