The US is facing many of the negative impacts of globalization today. Every day, we are losing good paying jobs, factories and industries to foreign competitors who do not have the same restrictive environments that the US has mandated for domestic production.
These restrictions include competing against foreigners who can work cheaper because they have a completely different standard of living. These foreigners are not more efficient or productive. They are just less expensive to employ.
The restrictions also include a mountain of governmental mandates that US employers must obey. Issues such as environmental concerns, health and welfare, work place safety, governmental taxation, work site development and a host of other structural requirements make the US unable to compete against countries where similar restrictions are not in place. Our 800 billion annual trade deficit speaks volumes of our ability to compete in the world market place. Level the field and cause all countries to have an equal ability to compete, and Americans would do just fine.
As it stands now, big corporations (many of them American) are simply capitalizing and exploiting foreigners so they can increase their profits. For the majority of Americans, globalization represents a decline in their standard of living and a substantial barrier to productive innovation. It portends the decline of the American citizen in an unfair world economy.

Globalization is a fight between modernity and post-modernity.
Negative impacts are :
Corruption
Riots in religion (the big one) .
Extreme Nationalism (who easily is transformed in terrorism)
"The move toward globalization is something every country has to face. There is no way around it.Those countries that choose not to join the globalization movement will be poor because other countries will not be pouring the money into their country to help them.There is really no choice but to join the train of globalization".

For me ,
the biggest -ve effect of globalisation is that of
unequal distribution of income
in globalised economy only that person can survive
that have power of huge financesas can be seen in the case of
fast food sector after setting up of stores of Mcdonald's fast food chain even domestic giant were unable to cope up with and opting for sell off i.e.NIRULA's
andthis unequal income distribuion leads to vicious circle of socio-economic problemssuch as of poverty,illeteracy etc.
Moreover,with un= distribuion of income inflation starts rising
and whole fiscal sysem of the country gets disturb.
but,his doesnot mean that i am a communist or i don't like to
see nation developing what my concern is that
with
globalisation even a small kiryana store is able to face bigone's such as walmart

increased production costs to meet quality and sanitation standards applicable in main foreign markets;
higher prices for tradable fish products in domestic markets and potential reduction of fish supply from local fisheries to domestic markets;
increased pressure on fully or overexploited fish stocks and potential risk of depletion if adequate management systems are not in place;
increasing impact of indirect effects of globalization that add additional pressures to fish stocks;
erosion of decision-making at various levels in the absence of adequate reforms in governance;
difficulties to meet scales of production needed to compete in a global environment by small countries, especially small island developing states as well as increase of poverty in fishing communities in the absence of an equitable distribution of benefits.

global markets becomeing less contestable due to huge economies of scale. this may also lead to tacit colusion as this is likely to create more oligopolies.
