i've been trying to find ANYTHING online about other people who count every color they see. for instance, the living room rug in front of me has 6 different colors in it. the painting behind me has 8 colors in it. everything i see, i count the colors. my siblings do this too, but not as bad as i do...i'm wondering if maybe this is a type of ocd?? i just want to find out if others do this too, and why??? i have pretty severe anxiety, so maybe this is a way to cope? just wondering if anyone has any ideas on this...

Not shy, more than that. I am asking about an adult who rarely talks, been this way since childhood. Very smart and artistic - gifted. Functions well in society. I would call this person a loner, well educated, happy. When asked why he doesn't talk more, he might say something like, I have nothing to say or I just don't want to.

It seems all my life a large number of people always seem not like me in real life and internet forums, which is sad. I am an only child, but I like talking to people, but it seems sometimes I become annoying to others in a way I don't understand. I look normal, I am normal in the brain. Sometimes I am not liked by black people, but the thing is.....I'm black, but not the average black person or how they portray us on TV. I speak well, I am educated, I dress properly etc. and I respect everyone. Sometimes I will admit I laugh at the most crazy things, but only sometimes. What is wrong with me?.....

power hungry, men haters, inequality promoters, hypocrytes and corrupt monsters AKA feminists?

Personaly, I think they want more rights than men have and want to be treated like Goddesses when they're worth less than dirt. They portray men as dumb idiots when they have never achieved anything greater than a man, otherwise where would we be without Einstein, Newton, etc... In commercials and movies the man is always the idiot, such is their power of corruption...
They also promote male abuse.

1. Stone age
Simple and uncomplicated life, yet not terribly sophisticated. Your life expectancy would be 30 or 35 years.

2. Roman times
Lots of 'modern' technology, such as sanitation and take aways, but also a time of wars and political intrigues.

3. Medieval period
Sex was not yet a sin and the New World was being discovered but life was hard with the Black Death and crusades.

Which age would you rather have lived in of the three and why?

Question: What is an economic downturn?

My Answer: Each country defines an economic downturn differently. For example, an economic downturn for China -- which has booming for many years now -- has to be defined differently than for a country like Germany where the population is ageing rapidly and the workforce is shrinking slightly. Roughly speaking, however, an economic downturn is when the total amount of economic activity in a given year falls below that of the previous year. For example, suppose that the US produces only cars. If the number of cars produced in one year falls below the number produced in previous years, there is an economic downturn -- which also means that employment and overall income will be lower. It's a little more complicated because the US produces thousands of types of goods, but that's the basic intuition.
