Some people get conditioned to actually thinking that. Especially if they are always complimented on their looks, are given special treatment and attention. They begin to focus on asthetics as the ultimate trait. Many times you will find that these people have superficial and unrewarding personal relationships and really don't have many friends who actually know them.

Good lookin people have a back up hyperconfidence because of the society. they grow up knowing they are so. they feel like higher level than the other normal members of the soceity.
this isn't a rule, i know alot of good looking friends and they are so kind and modest

Because they look better, they think they ARE better. Society reinforces this. Just look at your celebreties and the models in magazines. The world says to them that they are entitled to the better things in life because of their beauty. So, they act accordingly.
