Sometimes there is spotting.... if you are having a full cycle again though you may be hemmoraging... if you are going through menopause it is very important to watch that. Go to the doctor if you are bleeding a lot. Call the nurse if it is a little. See what happens next month. Have you done anything unusual.. like stop taking a medication or perhaps tried to get pregnant? Think about your last month... was your cycle light and now it is fuller? Try to make a record of your cycles, when they happen, what they are like and so on... because now a days it is very important to watch the female area.... for some reason many women are affected by many different things... I know that I have strangeness down there.. but I try to keep on top of it. Just know you are not alone!! Lots of girls and women are unusual with cycles.... 2 times in one month should be watched though. Dont panic just relax and think.... if it is heavy then YES go to the doctor. A gyno not a md.

Yeah it probably is normal, most women have an irregular period every now and again and some people have cycles of only a few weeks rather than the average 28 day cycle. However if it happens next month then go and get checked out just to make sure

You never mentioned how old you are, but this could be happening for many reasons. Have you been under alot of stress lately? Do you exercise alot? Both of these could have alot to do with your menstral cycle. If you feel more comfortable, I would talk to your Dr. That is what he or she is there for!

it isn't normal, but it can happen. it depends upon how old you are, when you started your period and if you are sexually active or on birth control. i would say that you should not freak out, but if it does happen again.... then you should see your doctor.

How old are you?
If you're a recent starter, expect irregular ones - it takes time to settle down!
OK I'm a bloke, but I've got daughters!

Some come too soon, some too late, as long as you are not discharging constantly...ask nurse advice, through your insurance or go to a free clinic. (this frequent occurence, sometimes brought on by too much stress).
