Not shy, more than that. I am asking about an adult who rarely talks, been this way since childhood. Very smart and artistic - gifted. Functions well in society. I would call this person a loner, well educated, happy. When asked why he doesn't talk more, he might say something like, I have nothing to say or I just don't want to.

Maybe they are thinking alot...i am like that...i simply have nothing to talk about with other people i know so people always ask why im soo quiet...but im always constantly thinking alot about things...its probably just the way he is theres nothing wrong with that...maybe he likes to write or communicate in other ways like through his work since he's artistic...i communicate mostly by writing cause whatever im thinking i just write it down...honestly its easier for me to do than talking to people...may sound weird but it is and thats me.

If you talk to people you will get a response. Most people talk to much and repeat the same point over and over a hundred different ways.

Not talking minimizes the amount of worthless BS you have to listen to.
