Today, I was disgusted. I'm living in Texas and we're having some ice problems. I had to go out so I spent an hour and a half filling jugs of water to pour on my car to de-ice it. I'm plodding into the house, filling the jugs, going out into the cold, dumping it on my car. I'm putting towels on the ground so I don't slip. I'm trying to
dig the ice off my windshield, etc...... across the street are three men staring at me. They have successfully de-iced their two auto's and are just standing around. They are WATCHING me struggle and don't do a thing to offer any help. Now, I am a capable woman, don't get me wrong. But I am a person who has always offered help to anyone who I see struggling with something, regardless of their sex. It's not a damsel in distress thing, ok? I'm a capable, strong woman. But once in awhile I'd like someone like Leopold (from Kate and Leopold) to ride up on a horse and resue me. But why won't most men do this anymore?

I don't see anyone else. I'm 17, and I can become very suicidal. I am currently on a low dose of medication. I just don't have the 200 dollars per 30 minutes anymore. And I don't want to pay someone to listen anymore. Can I tell him I don't want to see him anymore?

I am a junior in college, so i have about one year left, give or take a semester. The school i am at right now is so boring that i am being driven crazy, so i want to get out. One of my options is to move back home and finish up my degree online. However, my concern is that i would spend a lot of time without meeting any new people(that is one of the biggest problems that i am currently having at this crappy university). I turn 21 over the summer and if i get a job and go to bars and clubs, while living at home, would i be able to make new friends?

Hello, Well today i was just thinking while walking back from school "if I'm anti-social", and well i put a lot of thought into it, and i found out that well i only have like 5 friends but the are all like my best friends, but thats it...i may know another couple of ppl but they are just "ppl", and my best friends know way more ppl than me, and well it makes me think why "why dont i?", Im kinda shy and cuz of that im not much of a talker, and well its kinda hard for me to aproach to ppl, normally i met others when im introduced, buts heh me going by myself to other is like a "no no" for me because i think so much about "how i look, what i say"...etc. also all my friends have girldfrends and im the only one that doesnt, which also make me think "why"...i know some girls that like me and i like em too, but i get shy to them and well i just say hi and at the most some small talk but thats it, all ofthis is realy buging me, i just want OUT...thats all ..wht should i do?

I was resantly in a very abusive controling relationship. I finally got out ( with my life) thank God. I am having trouble sleeping and most importent I feel like my life as far as relatioships go is over. This is not the only abuse I have had in my life. I know I need to fix what ever it is about me that attracts these kind of people. I don't want to be alone forever but I cant seem to get past this. I really want to move on. Help.

Im staying at this place called Nanoom Christian Fellowship.
this church provides shelters and solutions to those who have trouble with drugs. They try to heal you for FREE food, shelter, programs ....etc through grace of god
but this breaks my heart how come over 11 years over 500 people graduated from this place yet nobody wants to comeback whether they are successful or not..... everyone wants to forget about their past at least the bad side which is understandable but they also forget the people that helped them when the whole world looked down on you as a drug addict and rejected you. i've been staying here for about 4 months and I am so proud to be here and be apart of this church. but not everyone feels that way
right now this church owns more then $300,000 to the bank for feeding, sheltering people that jesus talked and helped same people that was rejected by the world.
i have no money to help this place.
how and who can help this great church that no one seems to care ???
