Everyone needs answers to the large questions...what is life all about, where did all this come from, what will happen to me when I die...stuff like that. These are often referred to as "spiritual needs." Religions provide these answers, along with the "good news" - assurance that a person, in some form, continues to exist beyond death. These answers must be accepted based on belief, because they can't substantiated based on evidence in the real world.

But not everyone turns to religion for these answers. Not everyone turns to religion to satisfy spiritual needs. Some people work this out based on their own personal view of their relationship to self, others, humanity and the universe.

Depends on what you mean by "spiritual". If you mean religious guidance or training, then I don't. As an atheist, I don't believe in a god. Why would I want training or counseling or guidance in something that doesn't exist?

If you mean mental or psychological support or counseling, then sure. Everyone has days when they feel down or depressed or sad, and a helping hand or kind words from someone can go a long way. If you're confused, a clarification or explanation from someone can make a big difference in their outlook on a problem.
