The following is a sad story. After that, I'll ask one question:

You're mother dies. You are in extreme shock and you are heavily saddened. Despite the depression, you gather yourself and prepare a funeral service for your late mother. After the burial, you have a small gathering at home with your friends and relatives. In this gathering, you spot this an incredible person with stunning good looks and amazing personality. That person comes to you and tells you how sorry he/she feels for your mother's death. You instantly fall in love with that person, but with the emotion of your mother's death, you forget to get that person's contact information.

The next day, you kill your father.

Why did you kill him?

I know theory economics is more math orientated, but is it really more difficult than policy economics? Which is more useful theory or policy, in terms of applying it the real world. Thanks.

I am by nature a peaceful person, yet I always seem to be a victim in conflicts.. I realized today, that I expect conflicts, i expect to be misunderstood, I expect to be not believed, because i was raised that way... I was told not to expect to much or I'd be dissapointed...

But today i realized that what you expect. Those things that you think about... are the things that tend to happen. Not exactly , but in general..

Do you find that?

I have been having this recurrent (and quite pleasant) dream of a completely unknown woman, and we hug and say to each other "I've been waiting for you". Something tells me she is Norwegian, but I don't know what or why. How can I find out?

I think I would get sick, but I would really like to at least try it and see if I would be as good as the detectives on Law&Order: SVU or CI.

heres my dream was standing on the edge of a cliff in some building and on the other side was my parents telling me to come to them but there was only a balence beam to the other side so i started going accross and then a imp looking thing walked up to me and whispered in my ear "let me give you a little shove and drain all your blood" and pushed me down and i fell and fell and fell and then i hit the ground but it ddnt hurt and then there was two doors one had a radiant light coming from it and the other had fires coming from it and i went into the light one and then i was shoved back and heard your not welcome here and then i was being dragged into the fire and then a hand grabbed me and helped me pull free and then i noticed a second door it was a dark light coming from it i entered it and there was a giant snowy forest and i sat down with the person who saved me and i asked what can i do to repay you and it said go back into your world...and sing the sorrow

I've been with my partner for a year. We didnt rush into sex, in fact our first kiss was a month into our relationship! I appear to have a higher sex drive than my partner (I'm female, my partner is male). I have had to beg him to make love to me and he has refused many times. Even when he has promised me, he avoids me (goes to bed early). Making love, feels detatched - he wont look me in my eyes; he won't kiss me; touch my breasts or caress my body. Its like he doesnt believe in foreplay. He forces himself into me when I'm dry - like he wants to get it 'over and done with'. He has problems with premature ejaculation - could this be a conflicting problem? I believe that I'm an attractive woman (physically and mentally) so why does he treat me like this? He make me feel dirty and used. I've been diplomatic, kind and understanding but nothing seems to change. Sex has always been like this!!! I've become so frustrated sometimes that I've cried because I feel so rejected!?!?

this is a poem i wrote in memory of my youth pastor and leader. (no they did not die)

This is in Memory of those who knew and loved Ted + Shaun…
We thought we would have them forever
And forever & ever is what we thought
Until that one frightful day
On the 2nd of June
It was a day that would soon to become one of the worst days of our lives.
And for some of us, the day that we would last have a youth pastor.
And that was it; they left…within a week of each other
Not leaving us time to heal
From this tragedy we have faced
The last weekend we had with Shaun was not treasured, as it should for we did not know what lied ahead the next week.
That would put us in complete & utter shock
That weekend changed our lives
And we were clueless to the fact
That this would be taken away from us just as quickly as it came to us
So now we are back to square one
…Except for the fact that now we know how to deal with pain
In ways we did not want to face like we did
When someone comes and fills the empty place in our youth group’s gap, not everybody will want to believe that he will be here to stay.
We do not know what lies ahead…
But whatever comes our way we can face..
And deep down will still have that feeling of emptiness like they had just left yesterday.
As long as you knew Ted + Shaun…
The feeling will never ever go away

LOVE IS BLIND

Never knew love could be so blind
All this time professing to be in love
Failing to see the real me that was suffocating inside
Love wouldn't hurt me,
Love would only want to protect me.
I don't know why I felt in love and yet I felt pain at the same time
I was blinded by my youth
Hurt by my past
So wounded somehow forgot my way back home
I loved you enough to forsake all my worth,
I now see that it was all a form of insanity
So beautiful and young
You destroyed everything I stood for
My beauty was gone on the day you left me wounded
But as I leap like a wounded dog
I know that my future is bright and my blindness is gone.

Or, is it like being asleep? And, if the person is aware of what is going on around them, does he/she feel trapped in their body? What's happening inside a person's head while they are in a coma?

When I was younger, I used to be so outgoing and friendly. Now as I get older, ( I am 27 right now) I don't even feel like calling anyone besides my mother, husband, and one friend. Everyone else feels almost like a chore. Several times did I almost have to force myself calling someone back. I like it best when I am not bothered. I like to be alone with my pets. It's interesting, but my pets never go on my nerves; with people everything feels like work. I am starting to think that I am very strange. Should I see a psychiatrist?

It seems the Christians I meet have met Christ when there has been hardship like recovering from alcohol, drugs divorce and I was wondering exactly why, why if you didnt need Christ than all of a sudden you clung to him, and if it helped you or made life worse was the decision to follow Jesus yours or when you were hurting was he introduced upon you by someone else as the way to ease the pain in your heart.

I'm 13 (Nearly 14) and I really feel depressed. I feel guilty for something very wrong I've been doing, but since then I've stopped. I've told my mom that I feel I have nothing to look forward too. She's taking me to talk to someone tommorow and to get some anti-depressents. I'm really sick of feeling this way and she doesn't understand. I'm starting to think the easiest way out is running away or something, not nessecarily suicide. Anyways, is there any adice? I'm through with talking to counsellors, I've tried talking to my parents. Nothings clicking. Please DO NOT give me that cop out saying that I need professional help. What can I do indvidually to help this?

To assist me with my art brief, i would like the public's thoughts on age please..... like how does the thought of getting old make you feel? Do younger people actually take a look at old people and acknowledge them for who they are, and the fact that they know far more than young people and have experienced so much of life. Cheers!
