Do you think they do it because sometimes the pain they hold within is so great that they actually need to give themselves a valid reason as to why they hurt so bad inside?

I know I am. Most people are. But why ? Why are most people lazy, even when it comes to things they know will benefit them in the long run. Was just wondering (bored, really).

I always do my work, and when i decide to put my work aside for a little while, i keep thinking about it, and get very anxious. I can't relax myself! I never really have time to just do nothing because we always have homework and projects to do. (mostly from my evil S.S teahcer. she just loves to make us upset). My 'doing nothing' is coming here and answering and askind questions.

Is it just a little ok to think about my work first?
if not, how do i keep my anxious mind off of it?

Often times we get stuck in situations where the person is not being admitted to the hospital, but they call the emergency after hours number and request placement for the consumer either in a personal care home or nursing facility. And this is sometimes before even fully evaluating the person or contacting family. Sometimes the person ends up being admitted and it turns into a waste of time anyway or a family member is willing to stay with the consumer until the next business day when a caseworker during the daytime is able to handle the situation. But sometimes not all of the proper resources are utilized before the after hours emergency number is used and it just seems like a dumping job. Who am I as an on-call caseworker to go into a hospital and place someone when the staff has all of the information they need right there to do it themselves and to pick up a phone? Regardless if the person is admitted or not, they are still in their hospital or is there something I am missing?

Ok, I am a virgin, I've never had sexual intercourse. I've done many other things, but the thing is (except for kissing), I always end up feeling extremely guilty afterwards. I think that if I do go through with it and have sex, I would feel very depressed about it after. Not about losing it, but, feeling ashamed. Even if it were with someone who I care about and vice versa. I have never brought this up to anybody, and I don't know if this is a serious thing and I need to see a therapist? Has anyone else had a problem similar to this? (I am 20, and have never been sexually abused.)

parents who did not show self love or love for their children, then how do you even know what self love is, especially when you do not march to societies norms, thus are continually misunderstood and rejected. So, what do you mean when you say, "love yourself"
What does that look like?

I always keep too much stuff. I think it's because I attach all the stuff I own to memories and I'm afraid to throw them away because it's like trashing a happy memory. Those items have sentimental value, sometimes unnecessary. I also keep stuff because I think maybe someday I'll need it, and then most times when I get rid of something I end up needing it later on (probably because I make up a reason for needing it) so I feel guilty for throwing it away. I just can't stand getting rid of things that I don't need and old papers and stuff. I feel regret. Help knock some sense into me and convince me on why or how I should stop being a packrat!
