my partner has a really bad phobia of balloons anyone else got this or got ideas how to overcome it?

I've always thought it would be awesome, but sometimes I do wonder, due to what the mind can create. I think some things may be just simply too disturbing and terrifying....I dunno... what does everyone think...awesome or a dangerous toy?

ok 1st school i didnt start it for a job! a normal job where i do the same thing over and over bores me and the low wage thats wastes my abilty upsets me. the back stabing enviroment of the corp. culture.... ( they really dont know the meaning of a fight) so i walk away. but i have to do something. my something is investments, "school so i can make better investments. now back to the school job issue. ive had school and job training in the pas. carpenter the issue there is, being a minority wage and respect are a contflict in the bule collor labor culture. i was face with " what to do now " hince ' school and investments, but going to school your expected to get a job. my major is economics, it presents quite a chalange and meets my # need in life. now when I get there it will no longer meet it however im brought back to the question of a Job. and that brings me back to the original post question? how do i get past or use my disabialtys as sugested by others?

Specifically, what will be the limits on it? What may/will cause it to stop? Conversely, what will make it unstoppable? What hidden nasties will it bring. Will they remain hidden underneath an urbane face?
Are we talking fuel shortages (if so what are the alternatives?), or terrorism, or disease and pollution. Stupidity, corporations, big government. You tell me.
I don't have anything other than a vague vested interest in the supply chain but I really just want to see if there are any optimists out there!? Or are we all pretty pessimistic?

I don't sleep very much anymore. I'm 30 and I toss and turn for HOURS every night. It's killing me. Are there any good tricks (besides meds) to falling asleep. (BTW - therapy is out as I have no health insurance and it's REALLY difficult to get low cost or free help in NYC).

i dont mean the insane type that wants to hurt anyone? i mean the tipe that has learning problems, takes to them self and sees things, and hears voices. does life prove to be good for them too in the meaning of a good job a house and a car maybe kids. i dont mean the 3 hots and a cot with a unfulfuilling job and few friends with everyone having pity on them because their differnt. its seems to me that no matter how much training or school i have takin. im burdend by my long list of symtomps/ disabalitys. ive had union training and im currently in college because the union thing didnt work out. i was always pittyed because i was born unlike everone else. so do i have a chance at the new S500 can i get a 500,000 house with a job that pays over 100 grand a year. Or am i stuck being treated as less then a normal person?

I came across a song the other day entitled "bohemian rhapsody" by Queen. I loved it from the moment i heard it. it made me cry...smile..and feel sorry and sad..all at the same time. I let my sister hear it and she said it sounds like something someone whos about to commit suicide would listen to. Is it just to 'shut the door of opportunity' to a white man, simply because of his race and sex? Is it just to descriminate against a white man because of the wrongs of his forefathers? Think about it, if it's not wrong to discriminate against white males, why is it wrong to discriminate against women, and/or minorities?

Also, what if the man is married and/or has children, is Affirmative Action also shutting the door on his wife and children?

Recently my bf told me he might still have feelings for his ex. He told me he knows for sure that he loves me, but doesn't know how he feels about her. This all stems from his finding out that she has a new bf. He's going home (we go to school in VA, but he's from MN) over winter break, and he said he won't know how he feels about her until he sees her. Well, I'm trying to continue like everything is normal, but I'm really depressed. I love this man...I could totally see myself married to him. That's the scary part - he said he could seem himself married to me, too, but that's also how he felt about his ex. It's hard for him to understand you could love more than 1 person. Anyway, how do I overcome this depression? I'm just so sad.

I just recently had what I would consider a relatively weird and vivid dream. I say it is weird because the subject of this particular dream, I had not given any thought to whatsoever for at least 7 months. This dream was about a girl I use to have a crush on, but have long since been over it, or at least I thought I was. But the part that I remember vividly was, we were walking, she put her head on my shoulder, and I put my arm around her. That doesn't seem like a big deal, but, I could sense everything, including her hair on my face. But never before have I ever had a dream like that, that clear or vivid. I'm not exactly all into the interpreting dreams and such, but this one just really confused me and I can't get it out of my mind. It's actually got me a bit worried for some reason.
