that would definately be awesome. I have had some dreams that I hated waking up from, there were also some that i couldn't wait to wake up from hahaha. I wish there was some way to do that. that is truly a brilliant question

If this idea interests you, you should see the movie "Until the End of the World." It's a terrific film by Wim Wenders and one of the central parts of the plot is that someone has invented a device that records your dreams so you can watch them back later! In the movie, people get totally addicted to this. I can see how it could be kind of a freak out, depending on the dream. But I bet most people would want to try it out. (It has a great soundtrack, too).

I have had that same thought lots of times when i was trying to describe a dream to someone and i kept forgetting parts or getting them out of order. It would be so much easier if we could record them. Also, alot of people suggest that dreams are the keys to our subconscious thoughts, and maybe even intructions as to what to do in our real lives. These signs could be analyzed more accurately if there was a tanglible record of them, rather than just going off of faded memories of the dream.

What a fascinating concept - and yes, I'd love it. Dreams are so significant and I'd love the opportunity to be able to analyze their meaning. I had a recurring dream about Christmas - that I had a HUGE house, very elaborate, and at Christmas I would host party after party and then reach Christmas Eve to discover that I had nothing for my kids. I wondered for years about the significance of the dream until I realized it meant that I feared getting wealthy and then ignoring my children. That would NEVER happen, but it was interesting to learn that that fear lay deep inside somewhere. So, yes, I'd love to record my dreams and be able to look at them again to find any hidden agenda there.

Oh lord. I don't know what I would do if I had my dreams recorded. I have VERY vivid and VERY strange dreams almost every night. I could probably make bank. I'd love to have it =D At least just for myself. I wish I could draw so I can help people visualize, but alas, I cannot draw stick figures.

Oh, totally, that's why you keep a book by your bed and write as much down as you can when you wake!
Sure, there's a lot that goes missing during the night... but we only want the memories we can't have, right?
