I need to think of 3 arguments... help me out here.

2006-11-12 08:38:51 · 5 answers · asked by Arianna Duvet 1 in Economics

OK.. I tried to blame it on feminism and got a bunch of responses that men are genetically gay..

In that case.. why is it, that I have personal friends, including one who dated my friends sister for 15 years no less.. all who never once showed any interest in being gay.. and all part of a macho group of alpha males who were all very blokey.. yet diverse.. ie. one works in IT, one is a plumber.. one is black one is white.. and so one..

I have known these people personally.. all have had issues with dating.. and now.. in mid to late 30's.. they are having their FIRST homosexual experiences..

Now I ask you.. is that GENETIC???

Or is it that these guys, often from poor socieconomic backgrounds.. have had a GUTFUL of being treated like crap by females??

For the record.. my scorn is not with ONE lousy ex.. I was homeless once.. and now I am a sucessful "full package" .. ask me how many times a woman actually hleped me when I was homeless.. the boys pulled though for me..

Why is it that many of the more astute and "attractive" men.. are gay? Why?

Could it be that the pressures and rubbish involved with modern dating simply makes it no longer attractive to date the oppostie sex??

I just heard that more single women are promiscuous, racking up massive debts, yet living free with parents.. then we have the 51% divorce rate.. and its no wonder we have a low fertility rate..

I have noticed many old friends with whom I always partied and who had never ONCE shown gay traits.. EVER are now turning to having casual sex with men.. simply because they can;t find happiness with a female..

I understand too.. my last g/f of 5 years.. could not cook, never helped me clean the house I provied FREE.. and treated sex like a carrot on a stick.. then demanded i spend money on her and wait on her endlessly.. she was no different to the other g/f's i had sadly..

But dare I ask her to put off a drink night with the girls!

So is there a problem here?

When I was younger, I used to talk in my sleep. I talked to a man named Conrad. Nobody I knew then or have ever met is named Conrad. It was like an imaginary friend, only I only talked to him in my sleep and I didn't remember it when I woke up. I don't know if I still do it or not. Has this ever happened to anybody else?

Serious answers only, please.

Just heard that 1/3 of all single women now carry massive credit card debts, despite they live at home and don't pay rent or bills.

With the divorce rate running at 51% one has to ask the question..

Is there a problem with our females population?

I mean feminism showed us their was a problem with the male population at the time.. perhaps now REALITY is showing there is a real problem with feminism!!

My last girlfriend, of 5 years, could not prepare a meal to save her life, let alone feed my kids.. she never ONCE helped me clean or tidy the house, which I provided to her FREE.. she demanded a chunky diamond ring from me.. before I dumped her.. and treated sex like a privelige for me..

She also spent money on MY credit card.. often and took it for granted.. like I had some obligation to provide..

So I dumped her! Now i realise.. she is a statistic.. a sad statistic on women in this country.. who are essentially a bit usless in love..

Who agrees/disagrees?

completely ignore them or is it better to confront them about their lies and deception? This person "pretended" to be my best friend then abandoned (not literally, but mentally/emotionally etc) me when I needed her most. I want to "stick it" to her.

Okay, don't lecture me for this but im not proud to say, this is how the story went:

After 5th period was over, me and my friend Paige went downstairs to go use the bathroom, since the one closest to us was locked. We heard the bell ring to go in our class rooms, and we knew we were already late. Our Teacher, Ms. Sams, is soooo mean, she would start yelling even if we were 4 seconds late. We were so scared, that we just stayed down there, hiding in fear. School ends at 2:20, and that's how long we stayed down there. When the end of school bell rang, we back up to our lockers to go get our stuff, people from my 6th period class started saying stuff like, "You are SO in trouble!" or, "Ms. Sams wrote a 'Cut Slip' on ya'll!" or, "I had to tell, everybody told on you and Paige!". I was so scared, it made me not want to eat for 2 days. I'm just so scared to go to scool tommorrow.

So what am I supposed to do to overcome the fear of her yelling at me?

I'e been feeling really self destructive recently and I have a perpetual 'can be bothered' feeling. I used to be a really motivated individual who did well in school. I've been offered an interview to study veterinary science and it's what I've always wanted.

But just recently I've been, well I guess the work is depressed. I don't know if it's due to pressure or the fact that I have an unresolved relationship or than family life isn't exactly great but something is wrong.
Has anyone else had a similar experinec and how can I get out of the dumps and back to normal again?
Thanx, a rather sad girl
