Okay, don't lecture me for this but im not proud to say, this is how the story went:

After 5th period was over, me and my friend Paige went downstairs to go use the bathroom, since the one closest to us was locked. We heard the bell ring to go in our class rooms, and we knew we were already late. Our Teacher, Ms. Sams, is soooo mean, she would start yelling even if we were 4 seconds late. We were so scared, that we just stayed down there, hiding in fear. School ends at 2:20, and that's how long we stayed down there. When the end of school bell rang, we back up to our lockers to go get our stuff, people from my 6th period class started saying stuff like, "You are SO in trouble!" or, "Ms. Sams wrote a 'Cut Slip' on ya'll!" or, "I had to tell, everybody told on you and Paige!". I was so scared, it made me not want to eat for 2 days. I'm just so scared to go to scool tommorrow.

So what am I supposed to do to overcome the fear of her yelling at me?

OK, calm down. She can't kill you for it. You could tell the truth, and Ms Sams might just realize how scary she is. Or you could say one of you were ill and the other was looking after her. I've been in your situation, some years ago when the teachers were a lot stricter. I got over it. They can only punish you once. Can't your mom or dad ring Ms Sams and explain what happened, also about you being too scared to eat ? Good luck, you'll be fine.

You know I had that same fear when I was younger and in school. Unfortunately that same fear was a factor in many bad choices I made for years to come. You must not be afraid of this teacher. She's only human too. And so what if she yells....She can't harm you...it's just words. She'll probably feel worse than you will in the end. She'll have to act like that in front of all the other students....to me that's embarrassing. You'll grow up and become a woman....and she'll still be yelling at students who make innocent mistakes. Remember, she's just a very small part of a huge wonderful life you're going to have...
Don't let her get to you....
Go to her class first thing in the morning...before school starts even and if you can muster it up, tell her the truth.....
It's going to be hard, I know, but in the end you'll feel proud of yourself, and there's a 'really' good chance your teacher will respect you for this......
good luck Jazzy....you can do it! ! !

Tell the truth - the bathroom was locked, you went down stairs, you saw you were already late, you were so frightened of being late that the fear and anxiety made you skip class.

Also say it was the wrong decision, and you will never skip class out of fear again. The guilty feelings are not worth it.

If you don't want to have to face her first, visit the vice principle and tell him/her the story. The vice principle is her boss, and will appreciate you being so adult to come to him/her first. Also, it kind of backs up your thought that the teacher is too mean - but don't tell the vice principle or the teacher that!

Don't worry. You'll feel great after telling the truth.

We all get yelled at sometime or another in our lifetime. I know it is not fun to be yelled at ecspecially when other people are around. If you know that you are already in trouble for what happened, then why not just go and talk to her first thing Monday morning before school starts. Explain to her how you feel about getting yelled at all the times and that it has caused you to not want to go to class. If she still insist on yelling at you then go to the prinicple and talk to them. I am sure the principle already knows that you missed class anyways so you might as well be able to tell him your side of the story. Hope everything works out for you.

OK, well, everyone has REALLY MEAN teachers and everyone will probably end up ditching school at some time or another. It is definitely not something you should do often or ever again, but you did it and you need to accept the consequences for your actions. Yep, you are probably in trouble, but what is the worst she can do? Its not like she can kill you. This is a very little thing in the grand scheme of the planet...you just need to accept the reaction to your actions.

I think you should've gone to class even though you were going to be a smidge late. You were just going to be reprimanded for being tardy to class. Now you've missed the entire class, and things are going to be worse. Either way you have to face the music. Don't let this teacher intimidate you. Tell the truth. If you're so afraid of your teacher, talk to your prinicipal or your parents.

ok first of all the ppl that are telling you this probaly just want to scare you. i cut class before and ppl told me i was goign to get expelled for ditching. i showed up the next day and the first thing in the morning i went to the teacher and told them that i hid somewhere because i felt illperparied for the test. the teacher who hadent written up an explultion paper told me that thaks for telling me the truth and that she was goign to punish the ppl telling lies. she lat me take the test after i was ready. she respected me more after that and by the end of the semester i had a 88.4 and she gave me an A- even though i deserved an B+. just tell your teacher and be honist no matter how hard.

Be honest...
Tell her the closest bathroom was locked so you had to go to one farther away. The bell rang & you didn't want to get yelled at by her.
If she doesn't believe you, tell her that if she would just lighten up, people wouldn't be more afraid to come to class a little late than skipping it all together...

being gone the entire 6th period is wrong . Especially for where you were. It was better you got back to class as soon as possible and explained you had to use the down stairs bathroom and why.
Ms. Sam's wouldn't be as angry as she is right now.
You will have to face her so be cool and don't get bent out of shape and make it worse on your self. take what ever she says and learn from it.
