Disagree. The minimum wage already provides substandard living- a single parent working 40 hours a week 52 weeks in a year at the current minimum wage is earning an annual income off less than the poverty line. Eliminating the minimum wage would compound this problem.

Disagree, currently most people living on the minimum wage as it stands can barely make ends meet because of high prices and price gouging of basic necessities if there was no minimum wage most of these people would end up out on the street if they are not already!

Agree. Minimum wage creates unemployment and abolishing it will reduce unemployment. If the equilibrium wage in the labor market is USD4 and the minimum wage is USD5, there will be some unemployment because some firms will not hire teenagers who produce only USD4 worth of output. The wages should be determined only by the market forces (demand and supply).

Disagree. Companies would take full advantage of that and give people even less than the current minimum wage.

Agree, but the government needs to provide adequate education and training opportunities so that people don't get trapped on the minimum wage for their whole life. See my answer to a similar question below.

Good question. For the younger kids just starting out yes there should be minimum wage because if they make too much money they will spend it on things they don't need . Having little pay makes some more worthy of money values.

Disagree. Once there is no minimum wage, companies would conspire to pay people subsistence wages. Unfortunately, greed and avarice are alive and well. Even today, companies take advantage of people by paying them minimum wage which in my opinion is a subsistence wage. It's revolting.
